Q: Is this polar fleece 1 or polar fleece 2, 2 being a bit heavier weight.

I believe it's regular wt fleece. I also found this hat to be extra large, so it was not snug on the head/ears.

Q: Does this have the usmc logo on the side

No logo. I didn’t order one with any logo and none was included. Got what I ordered and wanted.
