Fixed vacuum leak
Fixed the vacuum leak in my 2nd gen Dodge pickup that moved the vent up to defrost under a load. Good quality, better than the doorman ones that fall apart.

Works great with predrilled rubber stoppers
Using these along with nasal aspirators in a two-hole rubber stopper as a carboy cap for wine making. So far these are holding a vacuum well.The flow direction isn't clearly marked. There is a direction arrow on the body but it is small and part of the plastic mold so it isn't obvious.

Use silicone hoses
Pure Silicone Tubing - 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD - will fit tightly over the end and still go over the barb because it will stretch. Or Food Grade Silicon Tubing 1/4" ID x 3/8" Is an easier fit but a larger diameter hose and not as snug, but does hold with the barb on a pull test. I might be tempted to use the little zip ties. One site mentions a vinegar water mix to soak and clean the hoses.
