NorthStar Skid Sprayer, 200-Gallon Capacity, 160cc Honda GX160 Engine

The unit looks good and is put together well, but that is about it. The on/off switch is difficult to reach in the back of a vehicle along with the pull rope. None of these were placed in a very good location. The hoses are put together with regular hose clamps, these do not hold up to high pressure. I had the hose blow off at several times, I finally had to put two clamps on each of the fittings. I used it for about 12 hours straight with no problems, then the hose from the pump to the hose reel ruptured, again at a bad time.

Been using this unit commercially for 2 years in an active herbicide business. I hvae had a few issues with the diaphrams but is used very hard often running 12-13 hours straight in a day. I really have no complaints. Great unit for the price. As far as the on/off switch and the pull rope that is a placement issue. I have mine mounted at the back end of the truck bed with the motor towards the back of the truck and the tank directly over the axles. I am average hieght and have no issue getting to the switch or the rope. There is some difficulty filling with a gas can but a funnel solved that issue. Also changing the oil is a little difficult and messy due to the location of the drain plugs. Would give 4.5 stars if option was available!

This sprayer is amazing and extremely well built and high quality.I see this sprayer lasting me forever and having many long hard days of use.I would most definitely recommend this sprayer for both residential and commercial use to anybody.
