Sunchokes - 5 pounds (5 lbs) for Planting or Eating FEDEX 2Day

I bought these to plant and eat. Definitely received a lot of nice tubers. I saved a few for planting but boiled some smashed and panfried them with thyme butter. More delicious than potatoes. I’m happy and I hope they grow well so that we always have some to eat.

I harvested two 5 gallon buckets full of tubers from this original order of 5 pounds of tubers. With this one harvest I am able to create multiple new plots of sunchokes. They taste good and are easy to grow, they also have lots of beautiful yellow flowers.

All of my Jerusalem Artichokes (Sunchokes/Fartichokes) arrived w/o mold. They were all large and clean and very healthy looking. No skimping on quantity either. I recommend this product and the seller (Kejora). Product arrived quicker than expected!

Upon opening, there were two pieces with mold growing on them, but the package felt like it was more than five pounds in there so it all evened out. The other pieces were large and firm and looked to be in good condition. Will likely buy more once I determine the rate of planted ones growing. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: None of them grew. I planted the roots in various methods using potting soil in pots, grow bags, and even two in five gallon buckets. I also planted many of them in native, sandy, well draining soil. None of the roots have sprouted. I will not be purchasing again.

My order came in just a couple days and the bulbs look really nice and healthy. It was also packaged really well which is a good thing since USPS had completely crushed inward every corner of the box but there was no damage to the bulbs. Can't wait to plant them!

I am very familiar with sunchokes. The tubers I received were excellent quality and signficantly, I mean significantly, larger than offerings from other sellers. Which is much appreciated these must have been specifically selected for good size. Of course they grow vigorously. No complaints at all here. Price, shipping method and speed. A+

These were beautiful and healthy, looked like they had just been dug. I could not be happier with them.Update:: I planted these last summer in Maine, an exceptionally dry year and was unable to water them as much as they deserved. Given this, I was honestly surprised that they grew at all this year. Not only grew, but grew beautifully. I'm 5'8" and they're taller than I can reach on year 1. Second picture is a little late as they're starting to go over, but gives you an idea of the look.10/10 would recommend.

When my tubers arrived, I was very disappointed they were covered in dirt. Worse, there were zero instructions as to how to store them or growing instructions. I stored them, in their original shipping box, in a cool, dry room. Checked on them a couple of weeks later, and they were covered in mold. Washed off all dirt and mold. Tubers were still firm. Made up a solution of 3% hydrogen peroxide (3 tablespoons) and a gallon of water. Let them soak one hour. Removed them from water and placed on a screen in the sun to dry. They were looking very good, so planted them the next day. For $50, I was pleased with the quantity of tubers, and the assortment of sizes, but disappointed in not being provided with a sheet of basic instructions.
