This is a very sturdy shelf while being manageable and moveable by yourself. I have not used the tip over strips but have no fear of this thing falling over without aggressive behavior applied. It compliments a big space without being bulky or overpowering. I put this together by myself in about 45 minutes. If you have a basic tool set like I did, you can do this much easier than using the provided “wrench”. Adding decor is part of the fun for sure. Have already recommended to friends! So happy I bit the bullet and chose this shelf.

Really good shelf. I’m used to cheaping out on furniture, so I was happy to see how sturdy this is. The wood is thick and strong. Super easy to assemble, good instructions. It will topple over, though, because it’s so tall, thin, and heavy. Especially if it’s on carpet. So the wall mounts should not be overlooked, particularly if you have children or cats.

This is a GREAT shelf! It's bigger than it looks in their pictures and such a perfect way to utilize a small area. See how some of it fits under my window so it doesn't block light? Perfect for organizing my crafting supplies. It also seems very sturdy to me and I'm comfortable putting heavy things on the high shelves (I did use the wall stabilizers).It was as expected to assemble, some help was utilized though you probably could put it together alone with more time and patience. Two of us took about an hour to assemble the shelf. We thought there were some manufacturing problems but each time we realized we'd made an error in how a piece was positioned so if anything it's just the instructions that are lacking.Overall it's a beautiful shelf well worth the cost, IMO.

I’ve bought quite a few furniture peices off of Amazon and, if you have too, you know they’re usually not worth the energy of pressing the buy now button let alone the effort to actually screw it together. This bookcase - is NOT like that. It’s sturdy, good quality, and easy to assemble. I easily put it together by myself in about an hour. I was pleasantly surprised! It did take two of the landscapers to get the box from the driveway into the house though - it’s heavy (because the wood isn’t flimsy)!

This looks great in my library room. Very sturdy and holds heavy cookbooks easily. My husband had some trouble with the assembly as he did it by himself while I was away. He recommends two people. I have plants on the upper shelves , cookbooks in the middle shelves and and added some storage boxes on the lower shelves. Great organizer with style!

The media could not be loaded. It’s a perfect piece of divider for open-plan type of room. In my case, I was trying to divide my dining room and living, and this piece is just perfect.The assembly process was accurately described in the instructional manual.The delivery was on time.The packaging was neatly organized and safe for the product.

This is nice and sturdy. It was easy to put together but helped to have another person towards the end but could be done by one person. This fit perfectly in the space I need it for. It is working well for a storage and play area for my childs toys. And this will grow into a display piece as he grows up.

This is not waterproof. Is not covered with any kind of quality laminate. If you drip any water on it, it bubbles up. Cat pee? Will ruin it in a second. I would love to buy more of these made out of good laminate. that is waterproof or even plastic. I can only find this cheap bookshelf. If somebody knows where I can get this exact style in better quality that is waterproof please let me know.
