If you don't normally buy this kind of stuff, be aware that "bright" means that this product is not galvanized or protected from rusting in any way and is made of plain, bright steel. So these will definitely rust if used outdoors or in a damp environment. Also realize that these are heavy spikes, and 5 pounds comes out to 13 nails per package.

should have read the reviews, did not receive 5 lbs of nails as the description says, got 1 nail, now see other reviews saying the same

I got 15 in my package, all 12" long. The only thing I didn't like was that in the picture the nails are shown as having a shiny finish, which is what I wanted. When I opened up the package they are all a very dull light gray color. It's not that big of a deal, but still...

These nails weigh a lot each. You don't get many in a 5 pound box. Luckily I ordered 2 boxes.
