Perfect to use with Square key
I'm using this with my Square key. I have a waterproof case around my phone and the Square key won't reach through the case to the plug. It's longer than I needed but works just fine and fits in my wallet so I have it handy all the time.

Not an apple earpods adapter
Bought this to run Apple earpods headset controls on my Samsung S8. Did not work.

CRAP
I got this in January. It stopped working after 6 uses. NO damage to the cord, I left it in the package in between uses, and very careful with all my electrical devices and equipment. Very upset it stopped working already. What a waste, but I was so excited the first few times it actually worked.

Just passing on a little advice. This works ok [Got it since I have my phone in a protective case and always had to take it out when using Square] but make sure you push ends in - male/female - all the way in to both the Square hardware and the phone. In my case I really had to force the pieces together and then be sure and give it the old $1.00 charge test with one of your cards
