Q: How long are the cords between lights, how much space can I have between lights? I want them as side (vertical corner) lights in a 4x4 tent.

The length of the leads is 8inch between strips so to run parallel they are only 4inch apart.

Q: How far above my plants do I place these?

It actually depends on what life stage your plants are on, personally this works better for the side of plants as they are 360w altogether not each. But if you want them above like I was saying it would depend on what life stage they are on.

Each plant is different. I start at 18in & adjust as needed. The top leaves burn or "taco" - too close. Too much stretch or reaching for the light- too far away.
