I am amazed at how quickly this grass seed grew covering a large bald grass patch caused by my dogs. I would really recommend this grass seed.

Not entirely bird-resistant, but after sowing 2 weeks ago, it looks as though some seed is growing. Needs regular watering, but not soaking. Value for the money, I think.

Initially used a weed, feed & moss killer product and found most of my lawn died! Used this seed along with other products to seed & feed what was left and it worked! Was lucky to have plenty of sunshine and rainy days and after a week or so the patches started to fill, a month later and it looks great. You need patience to wait for it to take, I also added with some compost to help it rather than sow directly into the ground and this helped to stop the birds eating all the seed too.

Desperately disappointed with this grass seed. I've sown many lawns over the years and all have taken really well. I bought a bigger box so I'd have some left over in case of patchy germination, because you do expect there to be patches where the seed doesn't come up, but this seed is all patches!In the places where the seed has germinated it is very lush, but over most of the lawn space literally nothing has come up. I protected the area from birds (it isn't a big space), I prepared the ground really well, but it didn't matter because so little of the seed has germinated (I'd estimate no more than 20% has germinated.)The production date on the box was March 2020 so in theory the seed should still be good, but unfortunately I can only conclude that the much of the seed has gone bad. Really disappointed, not recommended and I certainly won't buy this product again.

very good product that has sprouted quickly and well. The coating on the seeds is described as being a bird deterrent coat and it certainly seems to work. The delivery was nice and fast and it was well packed, despite a lot of damage to the outer box the packet of seed itself was complete and unscathed. I would definitely buy from the company again.

Likes - Fast growing, birds don't seem to be that interested in it. Should be quite hard wearingDislikes - The blades of grass are quite thick from this particular seed.Conclusion - Best to over-seed as well with a Multi-purpose seed or a finer Rye grass seed for a lusher lawn.
