iJDMTOY Smartphone Gravity Holder w/Exact Fit Clip-On Dash Mount Compatible with BMW F30/F31 3 Series, F32/F33 4 Series (Won't Occupy Air Vent Opening)

I purchased two of these Smartphone Gravity Holders, one for my daughter's 2014 White BMW 328i Xdrive and one for my son's 2014 Black BMW 328i Xdrive. I was a bit hesitant on the install as it requires a bit of force to have it snap exactly into place. It almost felt at one point as though it would not fit, but, it did and looks great. The CLEC logo on it through me off so I noticed you easily can peel off as its a sticker on top of another sticker. I added a BMW emblem sticker I found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PMYLJN5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I uploaded photos to display how the holder looked before removing the CLEC logo, without the CLEC logo and with the BMW emblem logo. OI like how the weight of the iPhone rases the arms to lock the phone in place. The holder is able to be moved into a desired position. The only negative was it can't hold the phone in a landscape position and also it did not hold anything wider than an iPhone in a case. One of the iPhone we have is in a folio wallet iPhone case which is slightly thicker and it did not fit so we have to look for a new case. Overall a really good product, well designed (truly exact fit) and would recommend it!

I recently purchased a BMW 328 GT X-Drive and although I really like the car the one area it really falls short in is storage space. The 2 cupholders in front are small and positioned partly under the dash (no tall thermos fitting there) and there's just not much room to hold anything except for the glovebox. I would plug my phone in (Moto G7) and toss it on the passenger seat, but it actually trips the cars' seatbelt warning....it's a large phone, but really? I didn't really want a phone holder covering up an air vent so I took a chance on this one. It snaps in perfectly and you just drop the phone into it. With my large phone it does mostly block the Hot/Cold air control wheel and door unlock button, but I don't use those while driving so it's not an issue. It doesn't feel like it's super robust (thus 4/5 stars), but hopefully it will hold up well over time.

I never write reviews but I am so happy with this product I made myself sit down and write it. First of all, it came in a matte black to match the car perfectly. Easy to install, it literally just pops on the dash between the two vents leaving the vents unobstructed. Brilliantly made! I am beyond happy with this purchase! Just wish everything I bought on Amazon was this level of quality!

Bizarre questions for a review about a phone holder...thickness, warmth? At any rate, the product is pretty terrible. It does hold the phone and it does fit the dash but it rattles and is super cheap. I can’t recommend this product.

The click in part fits the dash pretty well. It would have been nicer if it was more to the right. Being in the center blocks the onboard screen. The "gravity" holder works pretty decent. If you have a "wide" USB C, it will not fit through the slot. The side arms sit a little high (S20 FE) and the top of the arm blocks one of the side buttons. It would be nice if the thickness of the arms could be increased by 2-3 mm at least. If you have a thick case, it may not be able to fit in. I have a Spigen case on mine and it barley fits. The phone goes in and out very easily. It's secure. But, when in the mount, the phone vibrates. I fixed the issue by placing some foam under the mount which helped make the mount more solid.

I own a 2017 BMW 440i and this is an excellent mount. With my iPhone 10s, the top of the phone sits just below the multimedia screen.You install the bracket by snapping over the hazard light and heater control switches. It still allow you to use both freely (without the phone in the mount). The bracket is rubber coated as well.In terms of the phone holder itself - yes, I would prefer it to be of better quality. However, this is far better than most on the market I have tried for the price and it holds the phone in place just fine. Some previous reviews mention difficulty adjusting the viewing angle. I didn't have any issues with this at all.I would definitely purchase again.

Comes in two major pieces - the mount which fits over your car's emergency signal and temperature slider, and the phone holder with a standard sized ball and socket fitting.The mount fits snug, no complaints about it. It could be a little thicker but then I'd worry about it damaging the car instead of the other way around.The phone holder itself is where my complaints lie - the plastic is so cheap it'd look out of place in an early 2000s (or even modern) GM car. It's flimsy and rattles. The generic CD slot-mounted phone holder which I ordered this product to replace was similarly priced and MUCH better quality.Thankfully, the ball and socket mount is standard sized, so i managed to use the phone holder from my previous holder with this custom fitted mount, which seems to function well enough not to return this product.

Works perfectly in BMW - I was able to switch our the phone clipping device for a magnetic attachment - it works a lot better. The clips do not fit my phone with case - it kept falling out. As an FYI - I have the large screen iPhone. So i installed a separately purchased magnetic attachment to the ball joint area on this clip. Much more effective and looks much better than the “claws” extending from the dash.
