Absolutely Wonderful
AN UPDATED REVIEW (5/8/2020) - FOLLOWING A NEW ORDER:Fames Chocolates prides itself on its 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, and they DELIVER. Earlier this week, I had the idea of sending a chocolate gift box to someone special, and wanted a brief note to be included. So, I sent an inquiry to Fames' customer service, and within the hour, received a very courteous response. Fames' went along to assist me with the entire process, and - earlier this afternoon - just two days after placing that order - the gift box (along with my custom note) had been delivered. Well done, Fames Chocolates. Thank you for providing such a great service!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Following the arrival of these deliciously-looking chocolate boxes at my door, I needed help with a minor issue. TOO EXPENSIVE WAXY CHOCOLATE SHELLS, TOO FILLINGS TOO SWEET AND TOO THICK TRUFFLE FILLINGS
I love good dark chocolate and chocolate truffles and filled cream chocolates are my favorites. I also know my chocolates and what makes good and bad chocolates. I looked forward to receiving these. They were really late. I don't think I have ever been more disappointed by chocolate creams and truffles. The chocolate grade is inferior, waxy on the tongue. The fillings are too sweet to even get the fruit essence. They are too expensive for what they are and not really good at any price. My favorite gourmet dark chocolates are for some reason unavailable. I've been trying to find a substitute. These are not it. I do not recommend them to anyone whose palate is accustomed to fine chocolate. Nice packaging for gifting but what is inside the package is not. I feel bad because I have never given such a low review before.

Great gift. Good variety. Interesting and enjoyable flavors. My wife enjoyed these. She was reluctant at first for she never heard of this brand. But what person doesn’t enjoy chocolate? So she gave it a go and was impressed.The shipping was faster than I thought it would be. Plus from her enjoyment of these I would buy from this brand again.
