Very good. A good substitute for Zaterains.

The nice thing about getting these packets is that you don’t have to go through a lot of work to get a decent gumbo. Seafood, chicken and okra is what I use. Very tasty!. I usually have a beer with it as well.

I use this when I want to add extra seasoning to my turkey necks. Add a bit of this to kick up the flavor

I was tired of making gumbo from scratch, making the roux was just too much work. I researched the internet and found this base. I just made it tonight and it was great! It was so easy to use. Some reviews said it was too salty, so I used a reduced-sodium chicken broth and added meat and vegetables. It was delicious! Will definitely be using this base from now on.

Always a good gumbo starter base

Makes very tasty gumbo and since the packages don't include rice, you can store leftover gumbo and eat it without having all the juice soaked up by rice (like Zatarain's).

I have been using this product for many years and it is the best by far. Never a bad review.
