Did the job
These are pretty wide, so for our litter of Great Dane pups, I cut them all in two, length wise, which meant double the labels! Easy to write on, and once they're on (the ease of which depends on how wiggly the puppy is but the bands themselves are simple) they stay pretty well. Puppies grow so fast I find myself replacing them for fit every couple days, but they're so cheap it's worth it. They are plenty long even for giant breed pups. (Our pups are 1.2-2lbs at birth, and 18-26lbs at 8 weeks)

Good for Rottie pups from 3weeks to 6 weeks
I am a novice breeder and this was my first litter. I had a litter of 8 Rottweiler pups born on Dec 2nd 2012. They were whelped from my imported female from Belgium. When they were born it was easier to identify who was who, but as they grew, this was becoming more and more difficult. As you would know Rotties come in one standard colour, and I had a pretty uniform litter. I researched on the best way to ID/Tag them, since tying a ribbon around their necks wasn't working. The ribbon would be off by the next day. I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It's true, I had 8 pups and there are only 6 colours in the set, but with 5 males and 3 females it was easier to duplicate 2 of the colours on the females. Another handy feature is the Sharpie it comes with. My wife and I had "home" names for the puppies so we were able to write the names on, also she drew a heart on the male puppy's id and a flower on the female's. This made identification even easier, especially with the two similar colours.Yes, it is made out of paper, but holds up remarkably well, even when the pups have grown their full teeth! Between 3 to 6 weeks of age I recommend using them, after this you may want to invest in something a bit sturdier, like a nylon collar with velcro. Also, it comes in multiple collars for each individual colour. I have enough remaining for my next litter, even though I changed them every week, and twice on week 6.The glue tab is excellent, it never came apart with the puppies tugging on it! I would be definitely using these on my next litter, and would reccomend them to any serious breeder.

Works great!
I actually bought these for five identical black kittens I am fostering so I could tell them apart. The bands were way too big for their little necks, but it was easy to trim them down. I still have lots of excess in the bands so I'll just use double sided tape when I use them in the future and there will be no waste. Great idea to identify pets, especially when they look alike!

Changed Materials
I have been using these collars for YEARS for my Labrador Puppies. I’ve always loved them, so of course I reordered. Well this time, they arrived and it is a completely different material- more plastic than wax paper. The color of the collars rug off in a few days. I’m so disappointed and frustrated. Shouldn’t change a good thing!

Great for hurricane prep
I used these in the veterinary field and now use them for my boarding facility animals. Sturdy, fade resistant, no smear, no fade. Perfect addition for hurricane prep

Great for identification
I used these bands and found them to work really well. My puppies all weighed 4+ ounces so I cut them in half the long way to make them more size appropriate. It also allowed me to have another back up to change to as they got bigger. Since my puppies were sold before they were old enough to leave their mommy, the new families felt comfortable to know their new companion wore an orange, blue, or green band etc. around their neck since all were solid white puppies. I will buy them again if and when I run out.

For vet only
Dog breeder here. These work amazing for vet checks, writing their name on the tag, my vet loves them so she knows who is who and makes everything so much easier. That is the only time I use these they would be too uncomfortable to keep on for more than a few hours.

and the adhesive on the strips is very good, too
The only problem with this product that I ran into was that 10" strips really only fit very small animals so I sometimes have to double-up. But that's really just my inability to estimate how large a strip some of my puppies might require. The included pen works well to write on the strip, and the adhesive on the strips is very good, too. The strips do twist and fold fairly quickly, but they don't come off without coercion (other puppies' teeth, or scissors).
