British film making at its best!
Directed by Mike Leigh, an observational look at a working class family. Living in the suburbs of London, a heartfelt tale of ordinary people living their lives. And their hopes and aspirations, sometimes going a little awry. With great performance from Alison Steadman, Jim Broadbent, and Timothy Spall. A lot of dark humour and tragedy with regards to Jane Horrocks character struggling with bulimia. A very good film.

Comedy drama about a working class family.
If you like Mike Leigh's humour( and i do), this is good example of it.Although it does have its serious side, like the Jane Horrocks character suffering from bulimia.Special features include 36 min short A Running Jump, in which Eddie Marsan excels as a energetic spiv.

Life is Most definataly sweet!
A brilliant film from the wonderful Mike Leigh starring a wealth of British acting talent. A classic example of dysfunctinal family life that is in turn, funny, profound and moving. Excellent.
