The placement of controls is excellent, the non skid exterior is perfect for my needs and sound quality if very clear. Slim silhouette makes for easy take-along. Very happy with this purchase.That was my first review, and until it stopped working shortly after that, I did get a replacement which is working, for now.

Just what I wanted😀

Do not buy. I generally will not write a review on any item because I know mistakes or bad parts can happen. The first one I purchased did not work at all with batteries or the electrical cord. So I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe it just had a bad part and ordered another as it was a gift for my elderly parents who wanted to enjoy this while in their car. So the second one came and it only spun disks about 20 different disks to be exact and said no disc and did not play. I remember being in high school in the early 90's with my CD Player and it worked as soon as you put a disk in with no problem. I tried everything to get this to work and it was just a cheap piece of junk. Buyer beware!

This player is OK, but I think that it would be better if it had a clip in order to secure it to your person. The way it is constructed, you have to carry it and you cannot do anything else with your hands while you are listening to the CD/MP3 disc. Other than that, it is an OK device.

No skipping or weird sounds. Works great!Update 4.5 months later: it now shuts off after about 15min of play time. It also drains batteries like no tomorrow. I went from 30 hours of play time to 5 hours in just 4 months. It started just shutting off while playing CDs during month 3. Still no skipping or weird sounds just shuts off and refuses to work!

This is the 6th portable CD player I've owned and it works very well. The sound is clear, and the player is easy to operate using audiobook CDs. I would recommend it to others, and will buy this brand again when needed. The price is fine too.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! So many of these portable players are slick coated AND have a small side toggle/latch to open. NOT IDEAL for using in the car while driving (young enough car w/ no cd player and no aftermarket choices). But now I can push a button and change a cd while safely driving. MARVELOUS! great price! arrived timely! in heaven!!!

I needed a CD player that could play a MP3 Audiobook, and this fit the bill! The headphones are on the cheaper side, but the sound quality is actually good and they fit well in my ear. It’s easy to set up and use and I’m very pleased!
