Perfect!
These are perfect size and cushion. I had previously purchased Dr. Jills Gel Ball of Foot Cushions (Self-Sticking and Re-Usable) and felt they did not cover enough area on my 7.5M foot. I'm attaching a photo for size comparison. They only down side to SofSole is that they don't stick to your foot like the Dr Jills and depending on your shoe they may not stay [perfectly in place.

These pads are for the ball of the foot and they are nice if you could keep them positioned
These pads are for the ball of the foot and they do the job BUT, they do not have " have "Sticky" side, so it is next to impossible to keep them positioned when putting the shoe on. I tried double sided tape and silicone glue. Tape did not stick enough and glue did stick but if you want to reposition the pad, the glue (which I got) got stuck so strong that a piece of the pad had to be scraped off. I am sill looking for some "weak" flexible adhesive that would allow the pad to stay but could be repositioned if necessary.

Didn't provide expected cushioning
Didn't provide cushioning for ball of the sole I expected. Moves around inside shoe. Pretty useless overall

Non slip
Works well non slip. Pkg does contain two pair. You have to peal them apart where the clear plastic dot is

This could be a great product...
Except for the fact that, there is no adhesive on the bottom of the insoles. Most people, especially persons who wear high heels, know that if there is nothing to make these insole pads stick, they generally wind up anywhere but where you placed them, and often rolled under. For that reason alone, I give them a D. And I think they are seriously overpriced, as I found them worthless. Too bad, as in every other way they are just ideal.

Used in men's running shoes
Placed sideways for better width, must be glued to inside of shoe or they will move. I used pliobond/Gorrila contact adhesive, placed just back of where my toes are located. Most certainly reduces "foot-burn" generated by friction. Much cooler ball of foot.

There was only one pair, not 2!
I would appreciate it if there was a second pair as advertised?
