Lets be honest
For this price, you aren't getting the best mechanical hardware.These are horrible as cabinet bolts. We bought five and no amount of fiddling ever made one of them work right. They're all loose and barely raise and lower the rods.But I've kept buying them and I'll be buying more. I have just adjusted my expectations.Now I buy them, lock the parts in with JB Weld so everything is stationary. I install them because they're beautiful. But I put soft close hinges on the doors. The bolts are used as very dramatic handles. And I love them this way.If you're looking for secure latches with smooth mechanical function, look elsewhere. If you really want cremone bolts that'll work well, these aren't for you. You'll have to pay 5x more to get that.If you're looking for breathtaking beauty to use as the perfect jewelry for a cabinet or cupboard - and you understand that you'll have to use something else to keep the doors actually closed - get these and save your money.
