Chaco Mega Z Cloud sandals are comfortable, long wearing, and work great!
I’ve worn Chaco sandals since 1989 and they are the sandals I wear all Spring, Summer, and Fall. Chaco’s are what I’ve worn on every river trip since 1989. They are rugged, have great traction while scouting rapids or hiking up side canyons. The snug fit and superior strap design works so well that they stayed on my feet during a number of nasty swims in rapids (some mostly underwater in violent and powerful hydraulics). The soles last a long time and I’ve never worn them out even after many miles. If you wear out the straps you can send them to Chaco to be repaired. Recently I needed surgeries on my right ankle that forever changed my ankle and even the size of my foot. In past years I wore Chaco sandals with a toe loop (Z-2) but bought the model without a toe loop (Z-1) so it would fit properly. The Mega Z Cloud sandals I bought have wider straps than the regular model. They are comfortable and give great support. The models without the toe loop allow you to wear socks for warmth, which is nice during colder nights on the river in Spring and Fall. I can whole-heartedly recommend Chaco sandals, which are recommended by many foot doctors too. Chaco’s are the only sandals I wear! They work so well I don’t need any other sandals!

Comfortable Outdoor shoes
Must have to travel for summer outdoor places. Very comfortable.

Comfortable
They look kinda retro on my big feet. Feels great. Support is spot on. I am a white water kayaker. I love these things. The ONLY downside is that the tread pattern will "grab" and retain small stones. So, some care is needed to avoid scratching hardwood etc. floors. That said, I bought a second pair and tossed the rest of my sandals.

Nice
Chacos are great, but they're not built for my feet. High quality, just not for me.

Good purchase
IMO Chacos are normally overpriced, but great if you catch them on sale at Amazon. Picked these up for $32 and for that price they are well worth it. The "Mega Z" has a bit wider straps than on their regular sandals, and are extremely comfortable. Also, these have metal buckles. Would recommend if you like Chaco sandals.

I love these!
I bought these for myself - even though they are men's shoe and I am a woman. I have wide feet and can't wear a standard width women's chaco sandal. The women's mega z's don't come in a wide. I am upgrading an old pair of chacos, from before the cloud footbed. These are SO MUCH BETTER. I love them. And I love the mega strap. My old ones had a loop over the big toe and 2 skinny straps that ran together. These are so much better. I bought them in the beginning of September and wore them pretty much every where but work until it was too cold to wear sandals. Such great sandals, only wish I would have bought them sooner.

My second pair!
Bought these Chacos on advice from a friend, as we do a lot of outdoor hiking and walking in warm climates. I wasn't crazy about the look of the cross-straps at first, but the comfort, support and stability these provide more than make up for the style preference. I wore my first pair completely out, but only after 2 years of hard use! The newer models have wider straps, which are even more comfortable (and a little better looking, IMHO). I've tried other sandals, and other Chaco models, and haven't kept any of them. I guess this is the best fit for me that I've found... Highly recommended.

Great!
I ordered these sandals for my husband because he already had one pair and want d a solid black. He really likes that they don’t have the toe loop and he says they are very comfortable!
