The fit and ease of motion.
These gloves protect my hands yet still allow dexterity thanks to the open fingertips. I have big hands so the fit is a bit snug especially when t comes time to remove the gloves.

Great for weightlifting- amazing design and very comfortable
These gloves fit very well and are great for weightlifting. I went through hundreds of gloves before deciding on this pair and they're better made than weightlifting gloves that cost over two times as much. These are very comfortable and the design is perfect for weightlifting. I showed them to my friend who is a mechanic and he guessed that they were about $40 when they're about $20 as of now.

Feature rich, falls apart with tough work.
These gloves don't fit as snug around the wrist as I would like. The wrist material is slightly stretchy to keep the glove on your hand, and after two months it started to tear away from the rest of the glove and frayed. And the tab to pull the gloves on and the letters on top even started to come off with two months.I work in commercial truck tire service, so I am pretty tough on these gloves. have had other Ironclad gloves that held up better. The Framer series is a five-star glove, I just wanted a glove that is a little more open.I only came back to write this review because I am going to buy more right now. I just wish I didn't have too yet.Edit: This is a couple of years after my first pair. I thought I should add that I have now bought several pairs of these gloves now. But I keep coming back, so I have added one star because I can't find any better gloves.

Fits perfectly and Well Built.
I use these gloves for weight lifting at the gym. It protects my hands from wear and tear without hindering my performance. Follow the sizing chart and it should fit you. The gloves are high quality and one of the best out there. I tried many gloves and this is the one I settled with.

Much harder to put on, lost their second layer of protection.. Not worth it any more..
When comparing them to the old version, so far, I like the old version better. The new version has the elastic wrist that stretches when you put your hand in it. I find that this makes it 10 times harder to put the gloves on. It is not that it is uncomfortable when you are wearing them, because they are.. But, at least for me, trying to get the wrist part over the widest part of the hand (where the thumb is), is kind of difficult.. It just barely stretches enough to go over, so it takes much longer to put the new version on. I like the old version that had a velcro strap to snug it down around the wrist better. Much easier to put on, and it was still comfortable too. These do not seem to make to last, like the old versions were. The old version had a piece of synthetic leather sewn on top of the glove, to give it much more durability on the inside of your hand. It was basically a second layer of glove so that they did not wear out fast. There is NO second layer on this new version. Because of the extra durability of that extra piece on the old ones, I expect the new ones to wear out in about a third of the time of the old version. The name is in all rubber, which fit perfectly over the knuckles, to give them some extra protection. This was there on the old version too, just not as big, so not as much coverage. I like the newer one better. The second layer of protection that they put, that goes from the thumb, to the pointing finger, is smaller smaller in width then the old version.. Plus, the layer is much thinner, and seems to be made out of a less durable material too.Overall., I am very disappointment in the new version. They almost seem to be made to fail much faster.. They are much harder to put on, and pretty much the only thing I can say that they improved them on, is the larger protective part with the name on it, that goes over the knuckles.. I have used their products for years, and have been very happy with anything that I purchased in the past.. But if this is the way that their products are going, this will be my last purchase of their Mach 5 gloves.. They just are not worth 20 dollars anymore.. Maybe 10 at best.. I am including some photos so you can compare the old version, to the new one.
