Q: I have heard that this is the mavic to buy if video is your main goal. Is that true?

I own a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mavic 2 Zoom. I have not become completely proficient with either, and I rate the two in terms of making photos and videos about equal. The cameras are both very good, and each camera has one or two features that distinguish it from the other. The 2 Zoom is less expensive and does not allow for full manual control of the camera settings, but it takes photos and videos at two different focal lengths, 24 mm and 48 mm. The Pro allows complete manual control, aperture, shutter speed and ISO but has a constant focal length of 28 mm. I prefer the 2 Pro because of the complete manual control feature and because the quality of the photos and videos appear to be a little sharper, but the quality of both cameras is very good.

Q: Does it work in the winter

Yes it does work in the winter. However, it does fly for long as battery gets weaken in cold weather. Please notice that. and make sure you keep an eye on the battery percentage.

Q: What does this all come with ?

The Mavic 2 Zoom drone, unique controller, battery, charger and all connectors for launching and flying the zone.

Q: controller?? Is the controller included? If so which one and what’s the status of the one you received?

It depends on the package that you buy. Most of them do, but I have seen some packages that only have the drone and a battery. Just read the description. Mine works great. The drone is a great product. Should get one with at least 2 batteries though.
