I have a welcome banner that didn't have a hanger, so I purchased the Paracord Planet Wooden Dowel Rod hoping it would fit through the top. It's perfect.The wood is smooth and the balls fit securely, although they can be removed. I'll probably paint the rod and glue the ends on to make sure they stay even on windy days, but I'm pleased with them even just like they are.
