great for understanding oneself & improving relationships

I have ordered this book 4x's now ...either replacing one I lost or copies I gave away to others. I first read this book I believe close to 10 years ago and it still remains one of my favorite most impressionable reads. Learning the power of your words and the frequency each carries is so important. I am more mindful of the words that I speak now and always aim to use high frequency words even in challenging situations.

Very insightful - high energy words and low energy words. Not often we think about how we talk - it’s so habitual. This book laid out in clear, specific ways, new tools that help us relate to ourselves, to others,and to our world. All by how we consciously choose our words. Wonderful mindfulness exercises; they were fun and brought new information and meaning to old stories and concepts. Well written; had an easy flow to the reading.

I love it except for some new age and magic references. Wanted to give as gift but friends world be scandalized. I can read past those parts. Perfect book otherwise for me.

I love this book. I don't agree with some things but amazing information and concepts. I don't have a partner to remind me to "switch" my speech patterns but am trying on my own. Great for teaching the next generation how to communicate and speak to one another and how to think on a more positive note. I have noticed a difference in my depression since putting into practice the use of high-energy words as opposed to the low-energy words and phrases we are all so used to.

I thought that every word in this book had power. It's practical information that you can use right now to make changes in your life. It's not just ideas. There are specific exercises that you can use to test out the ideas. It's well written and easy to read. It's not something you have to struggle through or have a PhD to comprehend. I found it very useful and would recommend it to others. It makes NLP very accessible to everyone.I went to Dr. Oswold's seminar on the strength of the reviews of her book and the book itself. The first day of the seminar was a recap of the book and was not as impressive. Save the $500 and buy the book.

It's powerful

This book is a must read if you talk! I found this book to be very interesting and informative about how words literally create our world. In this age, where the 5th dimension has been ushered in for some, it is even more important to read. It's been awhile since I've read it and I need to read it again!! Recommended for sure!!!
