200 hp 3 blade 19P to 17P 4 blade jump
2019 200HP 4.5 mercruiser 18.5 ft fiberglass boat 1.68 gears in outdrive. Changed out our 3 blade 14.5"x19 pitch prop for this 4 blade 14.5"x17 pitch prop. Rpms went up 600 rpms pushing us into an over-rev. Lost 5mph top speed and have to run rpms way higher to maintaine 30mph cruise speed. I tossed it in the storage for a spare prop and went back to the 3 blade 19 pitch. It will be handy for tubing maybe but with 3 people cruising its to big of a jump. I wish i had gone 14"x19 pitch 4 blade.As far as prop quality goes i think they are solid built props however this black max i have now is the only one ive ran that isnt solas.

Perfect prop . RPM @ 25 mph is 4000 now . Before it was 4500 @ 22 mph cruising . 22 ft deck boat

Great prop.
Worked great. I went from a 3 blade to this one (downsized the diameter from a 19 to 17 but kept the same pitch) and I could really tell the difference from the hole shot and even picked up a few extra mph. Engine rpms were the same as with the 3 blade. Overall I am very happy I chose this one.
