Perfect for KJ’s
Just started using this speaker in my gigs both DJ and karaoke. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s a less expensive Bose. Same sound as a L1 compact. No feedback with karaoke at all. Works fantastic as a speaker to balance out a bar house system that isn’t up to par. Super clear and sharp. Very natural sounding. Makes singers sound clear and works well as a monitor in addition to projecting to the audience. HIGHLY recommend to karaoke dj’s. You won’t be disappointed.

Save your money!
I was initially impressed with the sound quality of this product, but after only 3-4 years of very light, occasional use at home, it has stopped working. Now, when I plug it in, it emits a burning smell, suggesting an electrical issue. For the price I paid, I expected it to last much longer. In contrast, my Bose Pro, which I've used far more frequently and for a longer period, has never had any problems. I recommend saving your money and looking for a more reliable option. They should replace this!

these are the BEST bang for your buck
Great dispersion, lightweight??? well, the tower is, but the sub is nice and sturdy...and a bit heavier than I expected. If you are looking for a smaller portable p.. and no more HEAVY p.a. cabs on stands, these are the ones for you. At half the price of similar line array products, these are the BEST bang for your buck

Correction
I wrote a bad review on this product because the tweeters began to start getting distortion. I discovered there was a simple way to reset the unit and wow ,this thing sounds awesome , love using it out to small venues . I would definitely buy it again. I

Poor logistics management
I have ordered this twice from Amazon Used and in both case only one box (the column speaker) arrived. Once was bad enough but to have it occur twice seems to be a real logistics management issue? I own one already and the actual PA is incredible.

Amazing Speakers for a fraction of the price of comparable ones
I LOVE my Turbosound speakers, I get compliments all the time from my customers and patrons on how great they sound. The best thing is that they can fit in a compact car with ease! Great for Karaoke DJ'ing especially when you want to load everything in a small vehicle and save money on the more expensive Bose and other brands with the same style. They come with a bag for the speakers and cover for the sub and you can't beat the price. The rating is low on these because it seems that some clowns on here would rather rate the delivery as part of the review, you are rating the SPEAKER not the delivery of the item. WOW. These speakers are 5 star!! Don't let the low rating fool you. Read the reviews and make the purchase if you want something portable, small but with a big punch. These have more than enough power for most bars.

Pros and Cons compared to LD Systems Maui 5
I purchased this to replace an LD Systems Maui 5 in my rehearsal studio. The Maui 5 is going to be my gigging PA while this one will be my studio PA. Reason: the Maui 5 is a little more versatile regarding set-up and tear down and the bags for that PA are more heavy-duty than the ones that come bundled with this one. Do note, though, that the Maui 5 bags are not bundled and increase the cost of that PA by about a hundred bucks.Doing an apples-to-apples comparison to the LD Systems Maui 5 array PA this one has some great advantages, but the Maui 5 beats it in some areas.Pros (for the IP500): beautiful sound clarity, a MUCH more powerful sub that pumps out bass if you let it, and a higher SPL without losing any of the clarity. Also, it can be controlled from an iPhone or iPad (I have an Android app that was just released, but haven't tested it with that yet.)Cons: heavier than the Maui 5, a pain to set EQ without an iPhone or iPad, and the two-piece tower housing the high- and mid-range speakers cannot be shortened. The Maui 5's three piece tower can be shortened to a single segment, two segments or the full three. Also, the Maui 5 attenuates feedback better. During my initial tests of the IP500 I was streaming music from my iPad and there was a high frequency squeal that was almost in dog hearing range. I had my mixer with a mic on and the mic was picking up the music and created a feedback loop. As soon as I reduced the volume to the mic from the mixer the squeal stopped. The Maui 5 would have blocked that frequency, especially considering that it was in such a narrow band.Overall, I am pleased with the IP500, especially since there is an Android app for this V2 model. Since mine is going to permanently set up in my studio the cumbersome process of setting it up without an iPhone or iPad (or Android equivalent, which I have NOT tested) that shortcoming is not an issue. It is, however, the main reason why this is going to be my studio system while the Maui 5 is going to be my gigging system.Note: my testing was done using a Yamaha MG12 as a front end mixer into the IP500's inputs.

Incomplete item shipped
I ordered this product with a subwoofer as specified, but what I received was just a column speaker without the subwoofer.
