I read reviews..... And, honestly, I was still skeptical, but hopeful.I used this in my 1985 DitchWitch 1025-SK backhoe. DEFINITELY more hydraulic pressure and the two seals I was going to replace actually stopped leaking.Highly recommended.

Had a whinnying sound in my hydraulic pump on my 2014 JD skid steer, 1600 hours. I was told by a mechanical inclined friend to drain the tank and just go ahead of the service scheduled, change the hydraulic filter and fluid. I drained the entire tank and replaced the filter. Added the entire gallon of Lucas Hydraulic Additive to the tank and then filled the rest with JD dealer suggested brand of hydraulic fluid. Started my machine and allowed it to run on idle for 10-13 minutes. Whatever was making it whine, must have been pushed out of the system because it ain’t doing it anymore, in the last three months(+100 hours). Controls even act more responsive. Definitely went ahead and ordered an additional gallon to top off my excavator. Definitely recommend this as preventative maintenance in your machines.
