I have a handicap adult family member who has Alzheimer's. This helped with getting them to the doctor without having to worry about them unbuckling their seat belt and opening the door. I would recommend this product to anyone who has someone with Alzheimer's or even a handicap child with autism. It is a great product and a good value for the money and it fits in our vehicle perfectly

Seems to work as intended. The only thing I don’t like is every time you unbuckle it. The piece doesn’t stay on the buckle..

My son is special needs and learned quick to unbuckle. So when I bought this it was a bit confusing to put on. After a few uses it became a blessing. Only use one part cause I don't know how to put on the other piece.

I am using this item to secure my dog's car seat/booster seat. The lap belt of my rear seat hooks into her car seat. I liked that I could actually lock the belt nice and tight so in case of an accident, her seat would be as immobile as possible. This way, in an accident, I know the lap belt is locked, and I don't have to depend on seat belt locking itself.l Also, the lock mechanism for the belt release button is also handy in case I am in the back seat, wrangling groceries and packages, and accidentally hit the belt release buttons. This is a great invention, and I wish I would have found it when caring for my grandfather who had dementia. I can't tell you how many times I would slow down the car to park, and he would be releasing his seat belt and trying to get out of a still moving car. I did have a little trouble getting the belt locking clip on my seatbelt. (I have a 2018 or 2019 Buick Encore). I took a little trial and error, but after about 5 minutes, I locked it where I wanted it.

I have an autistic 5yr old who finally out grew a car seat with the chest clip harness. We waited as long as we could because we know he would just get right out of a booster seat. & That's exactly what he did. A 10 min drive up the street would take 30-40mins from pulling over 3-6 times to buckle him back up. I researched on what I could do to stop this from happening because I just didn't know what to do anymore. Driving was becoming impossible. I found these & it was the holy freaking grail.!! 🙌 He cannot get out with these locks. We've tried testing it & there is absolutely no way he can wiggle out or un-buckle the seat belt when these locks are on correctly. At first I kept putting the belt lock on wrong but once I figured it out it works perfect. (It locks on the belt right next to were you buckle the seat belt to were he can't loosen it up on his lap & wiggle out BTW.) It's 2 pieces in this set. This was the awsner to my prayers & will be used years to come untill he no longer tries to escape. If ur kids constantly getting out of there seat BUY THIS.!! U will not be disappointed.!!

My grandson got out of it in two minutes, and he has autism didn’t work at all wasted my money

This product may work if your seat belt is very simple and skinny, however I was unable to fasten the seatbelt with this attachment on in our 2022 Honda Odyssey so I would beware when your buying that it definitely does not work in all cars!
