This is a good supplement to the Algebra I am teaching. I find my students need lots of practice to feel comfortable and confident to learning and the textbooks we have give very little practice before moving on. Sometimes it is easier to look for supplementary material than to create all your own. This is what I needed.

Beats the summer work given out by the schools. Gives students a chance to build up skills.

This book is perfect for summer school students so they will stay on track during summer. The answers are in the book so parents get them out. The price was right and it does the job

Good for summer review

Very good book to teach/torture "smart ass" kids

This is perfect for students with a tutor or parent with a strong algebra knowledge base. The explanations/examples are basic and does not explain all corresponding problems. Do not use if you do not have a tutor or strong algebra skills yourself. Answer Key only gives answer and does not show work to help understand logic.

The book spine came broken, I don’t know how long this book is gonna last with being used. While the pages are perforated for easy tear out I don’t want to rip them out. I’d like the book to be intact so I can summit the whole book to show we were teaching our child and having her do work (witch is required for my city/town). Other then that I plan on ordering algebra 2 as well, there decent little books.
