Berne Men's Heartland Washed Duck Hooded Work Coat

This coat was purchased for a family member who is a mechanic for big rigs and needs sturdy, durable and warm protection from the elements. The coat arrived quickly and included a free carpenters pencil and can cozie. As a lifelong seamstress, the quality of the construction is excellent. The fabric of the exterior, linings and other sewing notions is also high quality. Great buy, good fit.

After using this last winter I really like the quality of this brand. It's on par with Cardhart if not better at a better price point. I look forward to wearing it for years to come and would highly recommend.

First time to purchase this brand but I am impressed. I am a bigger boy with long arms and a big belly and most coats don’t for me like this one does. The longer sleeves fit very well while being loose enough to have a good range of motion when working with tools. The cuffs are elastic to keep the cold wind out while riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It really keeps me warm in sub-30 degree weather. The waist is snug but not restrictive even while wearing a sweater underneath. Overall, this is a good coat and would buy again.

This product beats other duck wear to pieces. Took me years to wear out my last Berne jacket and I got it second hand. This one looks to be just as tough. Very warm with the lining as well.

The length is longer, so covers when you bend over. It is a heavy warm jacket. Not stiff. Will buy again.

I am a 6,1 tall male and weigh 230lbs with broad shoulders. I ordered the 2xl Tall. It just arrived today and I'm very pleased with how it fits. Not snug at all, and not too loose. Can definitely wear comfortably with just a shirt or a sweater underneath. I was nervous that the length would be too short judging by the picture, but with the tall size it goes well below my waste in the front and below my rear in the back. I'm an apprentice electrician and I do a lot of bending over on the job, so to have adequate covering in the rear is very important to me. I also have long arms and struggle to find jackets to fully cover my arms, especially when I do a lot of reaching on the job, but this jacket is great for that. For anyone looking for a good coat that is around my size and stature, I would recommend this one.
