Truly Grass Fed McCall's Grassfed Cheddar, 12 Month Vintage, 7 OZ

I love the crunchiness that this cheese had. It reminds me an amazing Greek homemade aged cheese that I used to have. I wished it was a bit more aged and the final taste wasnt too buttery but it's still great!

I decided to make mac & cheese last minute for Thanksgiving last year. This block is the perfect amount for an 9"x13" pan of m&c. It shredded easily and was actually surprisingly creamy for a sharp cheese. The cheese sauce turned out perfectly and the dish was so perfect that I've made it several times since. This is now my go-to for homemade mac & cheese.

This cheese was really good. It did not taste like grass. They say on the package the cow graze for 300 days out of 365 days so I am guessing it was grass feed grain finish. The sharpness of the cheese is not bad and very creamy. I will buy this again.

I found it to be really delicious because of its extra sharp flavor. A little on the dryer side compared to some but, I actually really enjoyed that too. Initially purchased it on a whim as an amazon fresh weekly special at only 25¢.... yes only 25¢!! It was a great purchase. Brought it down one star only because I wouldn’t normally spend $5 on a 7oz block of cheese. But understand 25¢ Is a steal. This will definitely be a splurge item for sure... fingers crossed it comes up as a special sale item again. :)

Seriously. There’s nothing too crazy about this cheese, and there’s not supposed to be: — you want great cheddar, and you’re getting it! The pics on the product description portion of the page are actually pretty legit. It says “aged,” and there’s def. a dryness to it, but it is not “dry,” per se - that’s only in comparison to, like, JUST MADE cheddar. If anything, it really helps you appreciate the flavor you already came here for. Bite it, crack it, cut it, melt it - a sufficiently determined cheesester could even *crumble* it! Says it’s grassfed, which is always a plus. I’m kinda more inclined to think they genuinely care, too, because, unlike a lot of nice cheeses, they’re using a minimal amount of recyclable plastic packaging, not some huge, fancy, multi-material display box!

Can never go wrong with European, natural cheese.

This is my go-to cheddar cheese. It's delicious and when I'm doing keto I make it meal with some cold cuts. Definitely try it, you'll love it!

Shreds and melts beautifully, gorgeous sharp cheddar flavor. Animal Welfare Approved convinced me to give it a try, and reading the history and ethics of this company convinced me to make it the only cheese I will buy. I wish Amazon Fresh carried their other cheeses.
