My child loves her backpack. She's only 3 and keeps saying she can't wait to wear it to school. She's worn it with toys in to the beach or to friends house. But she's most excited to wear it with her school work in it lol

Super cute little back pack, perfect size for my tiny 3yo.... but th SMELL! There is some kind of chemical smell in the back padding and shoulder straps. It is so strong even after three heavy washes and soaking. Was supposed to be a present for her Birthday, but not sure I'm even going to give it to her because the smell is so intense. I dont want it up next to her skin let alone in the same vicinity as me. Otherwise it's the cutest little bag and has withstood washing we already!
