These were just the job for christmas, brings back memories for me, very old school.

Description says 'ROASTED', they are NOT roasted. Why do these companies always try to get away with lying on their packets. 2nd time this has happened. Roasted is NOT the same as boiled or cooked I have for some time ordered this (from a different seller) on subscription. So it's obvious I'd recognise it, I eat them straight from the packet. This item says 'ROASTED' on the packet. It does not say 'roasted' on the dozens of packets I buy already, just boiled or cooked. & yet the tastes & looks are identical This seller refused to even consider a refund, saying I was wrong & they were right

Great for Christmas stuffing
I always find chestnuts hard to hunt down in supermarkets, so I turned to Amazon. These chestnuts were really tasty, easy to chop, and the perfect addition to my Christmas stuffing.
