Bubble Purge G2 Hydraulic Steering Bleed and Purge Kit for Seastar OST-PBB.001

So I went the cheap route and bought a $22 kit. Results. The plastic threads would not screw into the helm without leaking. It leaked around the bottle. Trip to Lowe’s to buy a brass fitting. The QC bleeder on the steering leaked fluid all over my transom, Jack plate and floor. I bought this kit and was done in 20 minutes. That’s setup and putting everything away. NO LEAKS!! No air in my system. Steering is super tight no slop in the wheel. It’s pricey yes but the quality is top notch. No mess and it just works. Watch the video. The priming hose is a must time saver. To clean up, hook the entire kit together and flush with parts cleaner. Then blow out with air hang it to dry for a bit, disassemble pack it and you’re done. Less fuss more time to fish.

I received this kit last night and completed the fluid fill process this morning after watching the Youtube video. The kit is very well made and I was finished in about 20 minutes. I really like the ability to prime the hose that links the left and right bleed ports so very little air is introduced at the start. My system was only a little low on fluid and I could not detect air bubbles in the steering action, but everything was so easy I can't imagine even a full flush would be much more difficult. Note that the kit came with no instructions at all - not even a QR code to scan. You'll need to navigate to their website where you'll find helpful videos.

Worked like a charm. No leaking, no problems whatsoever. I’m glad I didn’t buy a cheap knockoff. While it is expensive for what it is, it’s well worth the money in my opinion. The ease of function and leak proof fittings made the job easier than I originally imagined. Granted, I am mechanically inclined but I feel like anyone with a little bit of mechanical knowledge and will to learn, could very easily perform their own hydraulic steering maintenance with this tool. FYI, I used it on a Uflex unit with a remote filler tube…Well done!

So this tool work pretty much as advertised. I watch the youtube video on how to use this before giving it a try. Definitely recommend watching. I can say with out reservation you gonna have a little oil dripping around the steering helm. But nothing huge just put down some absorbing matts. Tool is easy to use , and well worth the money instead of paying your mechanic.

This was worth the money and the wait! Quality product, I bought a cheaper one that was leaking then I found this from a YouTube video. Used it on my replacement hydraulic steering system and was bled and running in less than 30-45 minutes!

Easy done just watch a video,and have at it! It will purge air out of system! Little pricey though couple zipties and clear tubing and u can make a majestic do on ure own
