Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB GSM Unlocked - (White)

Before I review the phone, I would like to address the bait and switch that seems to be going on. I purchased this phone from a vendor that was fulfilled by Amazon, thinking I should be able to trust that vendor. Not so. Mobile Brothers advertised it as an unlocked international with a quad core processor. The protective sticker on the screen even said quad core. However, it was the AT&T dual core version. As always, Amazon was great. Knowing I need a phone, they issued a refund and gave me 30 days to send the crap I bought back. I then did some research, and found a vendor who had an actual telephone number and had a chat with them. Their offering was not prime eligible but after speaking to the gentleman, and being assured that what I was getting was advertised, I took a chance. Phone arrived in 4 days, and one of those days was Thanksgiving. I opened the box, fired it up and it is indeed, the international version with quad core and FM radio feature. Neither one of these are available for the US models. Only dual core and no radio. If you are considering purchasing this phone, ThePowerSellers will not rip you off. Great vendor! Now the phone. I have seen some people claim it's a cheaper version because it's the international version. I have no idea what they're on. I have a friend with a US version and quality is just as good. Even better, as the international version has more features than the US version. It boots up in 22 seconds. (I just timed it) Has more features than I've even discovered yet. S-Voice is a great tool. You can control most of the phone's features, make calls, and send text messages by voice. There is a whole slew of gestures you can enable. The camera is amazing for a phone camera. I can't say a lot more as I haven't had it long enough to explore all the features myself. This is a great phone so far. I don't know what the longevity will be, but then you don't really know that with any electronic device, so only time will tell there. **UPDATE 12/4/2013 I have received an email from Mobile Brothers stating that they did not sell the wrong item intentionally. They seem pretty sincere and due to a couple facts I believe them. The box was factory sealed, as best as I can tell. The protective sticker, as I stated before said Quad Core. It also states quad core on the back of the box. It would almost seem that the fault lies with Samnsung itself. While I know that some vendors are dishonest, I would like to think the majority of them ARE honest. So I will change the feedback I left for Mobile Brothers accordingly. And my apologies for any trouble I might have caused them as it would seem they sold the item in good faith.

This is the first time I buy smartphones so I'll stick to describing my purchase experience rather than commenting on technical specifications, which I believe other reviews cover in much more detail. I actually purchased a used device from TJ GLOBAL. I can truly say it's been a great deal. The order arrived well within the estimated time. The box was closed and properly sealed. It came with all its components (device, charger, USB cable, earphones), all fully packaged and even with the stickers on. I was pleased to find that the device had no scratches and didn't show any sign of having ever been used. The device works perfectly. So far it hasn't blacked out, flashed, flickered or unexpectedly turned off. The battery charges in the average time. I've had it for about 15 days and no trouble so far. The phone is unlocked. I have successfully activated it here in Colombia. I use it with Claro and Movistar SIM cards. It makes and receives calls alright, picks wi-fi and does everything it's supposed to do. The user manual came in what I believe is Hungarian. This device is a European version of the Galaxy S III, it seems. I haven't seen any adverse effects of this so far. The only difference is that people I know who are familiar with smartphones have noticed that this version is slightly slimmer than the one sold in Colombia, and upon comparison it appears to be so. By the way, if when you get calls you tap on the green button and it does nothing, it's not that it's malfunctioning. You have to tap and drag the green button towards the red button to the right in order to answer a call. I lost lots of calls and was close to return the phone before I learned this. I recommend this product and the seller TJ GLOBAL. I'll edit this review if I have a problem with it in the future. If I don't, assume it's still working perfectly. *** Es primera vez que compro smartphones así que me limitaré a describir mi experiencia de compra antes que comentar sobre especificaciones técnicas, lo cual creo que otros reviewers cubren con mucho más detalle. Compré un aparato usado a TJ GLOBAL. Puedo decir que sí ha sido una ganga. La orden llegó dentro del tiempo estimado. La caja estaba cerrada y debidamente sellada. Vino con todos sus componentes (el aparato, el cargador, cable USB y audífonos), todo completamente empacado y con los stickers puestos. Me encantó que el aparato no tenía rayones ni mostraba ninguna señal de haber sido usado jamás. El aparato funciona perfectamente. Hasta ahora no se ha quemado, ni centelleado, ni parpadeado ni se ha apagado súbitamente. La batería carga en el tiempo promedio. Lo he tenido por cerca de 15 días sin problemas hasta el momento. El teléfono está desbloqueado (liberado). He podido activarlo aquí en Colombia. Lo uso con SIM cards de Claro y Movistar. Hace y recibe llamadas bien, coge wi-fi y hace todo lo que se supone que haga. El manual de usuario vino creo que en húngaro. Yo diría que este aparato es una versión europea del Galaxy S III. No he visto efectos adversos hasta ahora. La única diferencia es que la gente que conozco y está familiarizada con los smartphones ha notado que esta versión es ligeramente más delgada que la que se vende en Colombia, y al compararlas parece que sí es así. A propósito, si cuando reciban llamadas tocan el botón verde y no hace nada, no es que se haya dañado. Tienen que tocar y arrastrar el botón verde hacia el botón rojo de la derecha para poder responder la llamada. Perdí cantidad de llamadas y casi lo devuelvo antes de darme cuenta de eso. Recomiendo este producto y al vendedor TJ GLOBAL. Editaré esta review si tengo un problema en el futuro. I'm a very fan of technology and pretty much pass quite time on the computer checking what is new in the market and what technology has to offer me for new. Recently a had a bad luck day, one of those when you scream WHY MEEEE!!! LOL but in the end it was supposed to happen and material things can be recovered so I'm over it as of right now. More because I had to replace my Samsung Galaxy Note (Tremendous phone BTW!!!) because I lost it at the beach on that bad luck day. I checked the MARKET and even I could buy my old Note again I'm more like the type of guy that like to try new and better, so I decided for the Samsung Galaxy S3 even when I was losing the 4G capability on the SGN but I was totally gaining speed because of the quad core processor the new S3 come with. I'm totally thrilled with my new toy and I recommend it 100% as I do recommend the seller that made my life change when I got my phone. Good experience I'm glad to share with all Amazon community.

El producto llegó en buen estado y dentro del tiempo indicado. La instalación fue sencilla y se adapta perfectamente al teléfono sin dejar burbujas. La pantalla queda protegida y la visibilidad sigue siendo clara. Después de varios días de uso, se nota resistente a rayones. Es una buena opción por el precio.

before this phone I had a nexus i9250, and is not much difference between them, the biggest difference is the screen, you can see the improvement in sharpness, another visible improvement is the design as it is more pleasing to the eye, a drawback of the phone is the battery life, in my case I have to charge up to 3 times a day with the nexus were 2 times, the seller "SurgeTelecom" sent me exactly what is described, everything in perfect condition, shipping was in record time very pleased with the choice I made. what i don¨t like is by the time i bought the phone's price fell $ 70, so I was not pleased ... antes de este teléfono tuve un nexus i9250 , y no es mucha la diferencia entre ellos , la mayor diferencia es la pantalla , se puede ver la mejora en la nitidez, otra mejora visible es el diseño ya que es mas agradable a la vista , un punto en contra del teléfono es la batería en mi caso la tengo que recargar hasta 3 veces al día con el nexus eran 2 veces , el vendedor "SurgeTelecom" me envió exactamente lo que esta descrito todo en perfectas condiciones , el envió fue en tiempo récord, muy complacido con la elección que hice. lo malo fue que para el momento en que compre el precio del teléfono cayo 70 $, lo que no me agrado ...

Who would have thought that buying a cellphone online could be so hassle free, convenient and so easy these days? I was one of those people who always have doubts when buying stuff online, cant be bothered with the hassle of returning it back, going through this and that if something dont work. I have always been the buy, make it work right away and im out the door. So i decided to try buying this online, which so far have pretty good reviews...and trust me im the type who goes through each and every reviews just to be sure. So i bought a white one for myself and a blue one for my husband. Not that anything was wrong with our phones, the price was great, so why not. It came, i didnt put any expectations at all. Took it out of the box, warranty, manual everything was inside. Everything was packaged the way its supposed to be packaged and i been using it since i got it. flawless, no problems so far... im actually thinking of buying another one for my brother in law today. how convenient is that? if you are one of those people who is always wary and cant be bothered type of person like me and ure looking for a phone...this one definitely is a no brainer. and i do all my work on my phone, my spreadsheets, my music player, my work emails, basically everything. overseas conference, calls, u name it, everything is on that phone. you could also put 2 sim cards in it. what more can you want?

This is a review of the Samsung Galaxy S3 i930016GB - Unlocked International Version No Warranty sold by TexasElectronicsdistributor and fullfill by Amazon. I bought this phone to give to a relative,outside the USA, as a gift for when I visit. I read some reviews about fake S3 International being sold by vendors on Amazon. But I hope that being fullfill by Amazon I would get real one. If I got a fake I would just return it before my trip and get my relative another phone in her country. When I got the phone, I open the box and everything look brand new and said S3 International I9300 including the label on the back of the phone where the battery would go. I thought great and took it on my trip. When I powered it up for my relative and check the phone the boot screen showed I9300. I check about phone in the settings and it showed the Device was I9300. But I notice that superuser was install so it was already rooted, which was unexpected as it was a brand new phone. It was only when I was trying to install a custom recovery to install a custom rom and fonts, that I realize it was fake. When I was in Download mode to install the custom recovery, it should have also said I9300, but it said it was I747 which an S3 but not the international one. I google it and others seem to have this problem. It seems to be that someone remove the internal motherboad of the I9300 and replace it with the I747 variant, but keeping the external case of the I9300. Then that person rooted it and install a custom rom that deceived the user into thinking it is a I9300 in the setting. My trip was about a month, so it is too late to return it. The custom recoverys for I9300 failed to install properly, But the custom recovery for the other S3 variants which includes I747 worked. I didn't want to risk bricking the phone so I left installed rom alone. On top of that the battery was faulty and had to be replaced. It is her first smart phone so my relative kept it anyways and seem to like it. Just be aware of fakes. If it is already rooted when you get it, it is probably fake. Reboot into download mode. If it doesn't say I9300 it is fake.

This Phone IS the International version i9300 and it is a awesome phone, I only have 1 issue, when I received the phone it came in the retail packaging But the sticker that you see that says do not accept this item if this seal is broken, well the seal wasn't broken but I could see where there had been a sticker placed on top on another so idk if that was done because the phone was already opened and they resealed it with another sticker or that's just the way it is, Also after I got the package open and pulled the phone out I could see that it had already had a screen protector already stuck onto the screen, now idk if all these i9300 new phones come with a screen protector already installed on the screen but mine had one already stuck on it. that's pretty much everything I can say about the phone, So beside those 2 issues everything else was perfect and I cant complain. one last thing I am going to contact Samsung and ask them if this phone does come with a screen protector already installed coming brand new out of the box.

Ich war sehr skeptisch mir das neue Galaxy S3 Modell zu holen, da ich mit meinem S2 mehr als sehr zufrieden war. Top Ausstattung, alles hat funktioniert und es gab eigentlich keinen Grund es zu tauschen, wenn da nicht meine neugier gewesen wäre. Also einfach mal bestellt bei Amazon und testen. Und nach 2 Tagen wie immer bei Amazon war mein weißes S3 da, ich war begeistert und für mich stand sehr schnell fest, das will ich auch haben!!! Das Display ist einfach der Hammer das S2 war scharf, das S3 Display springt einem förmlich ins Auge, über die so angeblich schlechte und billig wirkende Verabreitung des Plastikgehäuses, kann ich nur lachen. Ich finde es edel und sogar meiner Ansicht nach schicker als beim S2. Klar würde man sich über wertigere Materialen freuen, wie bei HTC, oder beim Iphone. Aber mal ehrlich, sind nicht die Zutaten im Gerät das, auf was es ankommt??? Ich finde den Sound besser beim S3 als beim Vorgänger, etwas klarer und lauter. GPS fix ist sogar in der Wohnung in Sekunden erledigt :)! Kontakte waren in Sekundenschnelle über Kies überspielt und funzt alles einwandfrei. Display bleibt an solange man drauf schaut, feine Sache. Das mehr Gewicht vom S3 spürt man nicht wirklich, dafür umso mehr das gewachsene Display, es ist der Hamma ein Video darauf anzuschauen, da wirken 3,5 bzw. 4 Zoll Display's winzig dagegen! Und das beste ist in der Hostentasche fällt es nicht wirklich auf ob S2 oder S3, es ist sogar einen Tick schmaler als das S2 ;)! Die Cam hat zwar genauso nur 8 Mp wie beim S2, macht aber meines erachtens bessere und vor allem schärfere Bilder, als das gute *alte* S2. Die HDR Funktion finde ich persönlich auch richtig gut gelungen. Die Sprachsteuerung funktioniert teilweise ganz gut, aber daran muß gearbeitet werden! Das ist so das einzigste Manko bis jetzt aus meiner Ansicht! Zwar funktionieren das anrufen von Kontakten, Standort über Maps, Wetter und auch Wecker stellen ganz gut, aber oftmals kommen falsche antworten, oder sie versteht einen falsch und macht was ganz anderes. Ich denke aber das wird ziehmlich schnell behoben werden, da es nur Softwaretechnisch sein dürfte. Und bitte etwas freundlicher und nicht so abgehackt ;)! Der Akku scheint der Displaygröße angepasst zu sein, er hält genauso lange wie bei meinem S2 und etwas mehr. Das wird sich aber erst raus stellen in den nächsten Wochen. Die vielen neuen Energiesparfunktionen müssen auch erstmal erforscht werden, auch von mir als S2 Erfahrener. Noch ein Pluspunkt ist für mich, die Notification LED am Gehäuserand oben. Endlich Samsung. warum nicht früher??? Nur bitte noch diverse Apps und interne Benarichtigungen damit verbinden und ich bin mehr als glücklich! Andorid 4.04 tut sein übriges und macht sich sehr gut auf dem Gerät und ich denke das wir noch die eine oder andere Überraschung bekommen werden, denn dieses Handy hat Power. Die 4 Kerne spürt man deutlich und die vielen neuen Funktionen machen Spaß. Video in einem kleinen Rahmen anschauen egal bei was man grade macht ist schon cool, brauchen werden es die meisten nicht, aber es geht halt wenn man will :)! Was auch nicht ganz so schön war, ist das man eine Micro Sim Karte braucht, naja wurde warscheinlich für die ganzen Iphone Besitzer gemacht die überspringen wollen, damit sie weniger Arbeit haben :). Ich hatte diese noch nicht und meine alte Sim konnte auch nicht dafür geschnitten werden, aber ein Anruf beim Anbieter und die kostenlose Micro Sim war innerhalb von 3 Tagen da, also alles easy. In der Zeit konnte ich das Handy einstellen über Wlan und Ready to go machen. Wenn ich alles so überschlage bin ich rund um zufrieden, das sieht man auch an den ganzen positiven Bewertungen. In den ersten Tagen haben sich ein paar Fanboys vom Apfel gedacht, komm wir versuchen es einfach mal das doch übermächtige S3 schlecht zu machen, aber wie man sieht sind die schlechten Bewertungen Tage her und auch die ganzen Kiddies haben gemerkt das es nichts bringt, etwas schlecht zu machen, was doch überall vorne liegt. Geschmäcker sind verschieden und Ansprüche auch! Ich habe einen hohen und deswegen habe ich das Galaxy S3 gekauft :)! Aber jeder muss selber wissen was er will, Optik für viel Geld, mit veralteter Technik und beschränkt in Sachen Multimedia und keinen auswechselbaren Akku, für mich ein absolutes NO GO, dazu noch schwerer und anfällig hoch zehn ;)! Nicht umsonst hat Samsung den einen, oder anderen Hersteller Meilenweit nicht nur überholt, sondern überrollt ;)! Man braucht sovieles nicht im Leben und doch hat man es, aber das S3 ist mein Begleiter und ich liebe es und brauche es!!! Denn es ist leider sehr geil!!!

Regalato qualche giorno fa a mia figlia ho avuto modo di provarlo e l'ho trovato un ottimo smartphone. Display molto definito..anche se trovo che quello dell'iPhone 4s che posseggo sia migliore soprattutto come luminosità e resa del bianco che qui tende all'azzurrino, fotocamera all'altezza delle aspettative e ricezione molto buona delle telefonate e soprattutto della rete WI-FI dove si collega alle reti presenti quando invece l' iPhone 4S neppure le rileva. Nonostante le dimensioni è molto leggero e sottile, pertanto si tiene bene in mano e non da fastidio in tasca. Durata della batteria..con un uso intenso non fa tutta la giornata, ma la trovo migliore sempre paragonata all'IPhone. Da considerare per ultima cosa, ma direi molto importante, che la SAR di questo telefono è tra le più basse di quelle degli altri smartphone e per la salute è un fattore da tenere in considerazione. In conclusione direi promosso a pieni voti.

Entre la commande et la réception du téléphone, j'ai eu de gros doutes à propos du fait que ce soit un import Allemagne, d'autant que je lisais certains commentaires ici même, plutôt négatifs (doutes sur le portable import Allemagne, doutes sur le fait qu'il soit neuf, sur la SIM pas compatible, sur le langage à changer, sur les applications Allemandes). Pour résumé, je suis très satisfait de mon samsung galaxy s3, que j'ai reçu 1 jour avant la date prévue. Il est parfaitement neuf, avec tout dans la boite (chargeur, kit oreillette, notice en Anglais et Allemand, Batterie). Le portable import Allemagne est exactement identique au S3 vendu en France, il a simplement 3 applications Allemandes facilement identifiables (Type journal Bild), et facilement supprimables. Toutes les autres applications habituelles d'origine sont présentes. Le produit est NEUF. Concernant la carte SIM, le téléphone est bien débloqué et accepte toutes les cartes SIM, à savoir que sur le Galaxy s3, c'est une carte micro SIM qu'il faut insérer, c'est à dire la partie centrale et détachable de votre carte SIM, vous inquiétez pas, vous saurez immédiatement comment faire. Le langage est sélectionnable dés le 1er allumage.

Einen Vergleich mit dem Iphone spare ich mir. Das S3 spielt in einer anderen Liga. Technisch sowieso und mittlerweile auch vom Design her ! Apple wird sich beim Iphone 5 anstrengen müssen und sollte seine Energie eher auf seine Produkte als auf diverse Klagen gegen Samsung konzentrieren. Ich war anfangs vom Iphone durchaus begeistert. Nur ist die Zeit bei Apple irgendwie stehengeblieben. Das immer gleiche (mittlerweile langweilige) Design, das nicht mehr zeitgemäße 3,5 Zoll Display, das sehr eingeschränkte und langweilige Betriebssystem (keine Widgets, usw.). In den Geschäften sieht das Iphone neben Galaxy S3, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia oder Galaxy Note mittlerweile richtiggehend armselig aus. Ohne Apple Logo würde man da eher an ein Gerät in der Preisklasse bis 100 Euro denken. Aber nun zum S3: Habe es seit kurzer Zeit und bin mehr als begeistert ! Die technischen Daten und Möglichkeiten sind ja bekannt und da gibts im Moment einfach nichts besseres. Ich kann nur sagen, die Geschwindigkeit mit der alles läuft, ist atemberaubend. Da merkt man, dass viele Komponenten von Samsung selbst entwickelt wurden und dementsprechend perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Das Display ist brilliant. Die Benachrichtigungs LED ist Gold wert. Die ganzen neuen Funktionen sind teilweise toll und sinnvoll, teilweise eine eher nutzlose Spielerei (S-Voice z.B.) Nun aber zum Design. Das S3 sieht alles andere als billig aus ! Im Gegenteil. Bisher war ich mit dem Design von Samsung nicht immer zufrieden. Das S2 sieht recht billig aus, wie ich finde. In weiß noch schlimmer als in schwarz. Das Note schaut in schwarz recht elegant aus, das weiße Note schaut aber auch billig aus. Aber nun das ! Das S3 (meines ist weiß) sieht richtig edel aus! Die gesamte Front (nicht nur das Display) ist eine durchgehende Glasfläche. Das Weiß darunter ist eher cremig und kein ganz helles Weiß wie z.B. beim HTC One X. Die LED (sieht man erst wenn sie leuchtet) und die leuchtenden Smartkeys sehen unter der weißen Glasfront wirklich edel aus. Die Rückseite ist zwar aus Polycabonat und sehr dünn, sieht aber auch sehr schön aus und ist auch sehr stabil. Vor allem braucht man aber nicht so panisch aufpassen, wenn man es irgendwo hinlegt, oder es sofort in irgend eine Schutzhülle stecken, denn eine neue Rückseite wird nicht die Welt kosten, sollte sie wirklich einmal zerkratzt sein. Ein abnehmbarer Akkudeckel ist halt doch sehr viel wert (nicht nur wegen dem austauschbaren Akku). Die Verarbeitung generell ist top und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Ja, das Galaxy S3 ist großteils aus Kunststoff (Polycarbonat) und das ist gut so ! Durch die Glasfront wirkt es trotzdem ausgesprochen hochwertig und ist dabei aber trotzdem sehr leicht. Das letzte was ich will, ist ein Smartphone aus Metall. Damit schirmt man die ganze Funktechnik so richtig schön ab und man glaubt immer, man hätte einen Stein in der Hose eingesteckt. Samsung schafft es übrigens auch als einziger Hersteller bei den neuesten Smartphones einen sehr guten SAR-Wert zu erzielen (ca. 0,3 !). Iphone, HTX One X und Xperia S sind da ja jenseits von Gut und Böse. Obs der Gesundheit schadet oder nicht, ein niedriger SAR-Wert ist jedenfalls sicher kein Nachteil. Fazit: Die eierlegende Wollmilchsau !! Ich bin begeistert !

Premetto che ho acquistato un Samsung Galaxy S3 venduto come NUOVO a 200 €. La spedizione è andata a buon fine, il corriere è arrivato il giorno previsto, ma ciò che mi ha fatto storcere il naso è quel che mi sono trovato tra le mani. Il pacco esterno usato per la spedizione era di cartone sottile, poco resistente, ammaccato e tenuto insieme solo da una coppia di fascette di plastica. Già da chiuso, tenendolo in mano, si sentiva che all'interno qualcosa oscillava, quindi non si era provveduto ad un'adeguata imbottitura per salvaguardare il contenuto. Una volta aperto, al suo interno ho trovato una scatola bianca anonima e ASSOLUTAMENTE NON SIGILLATA in cui era "custodito" il telefono (adagiato sul fondo della scatola senza alcuna protezione), il caricabatterie, la batteria, le cuffiette e, con mia sorpresa, una bustina di orsetti gommosi haribo. Non ho parole. Per un prodotto venduto come nuovo, ci si aspetta che come minimo sia spedito nella sua confezione originale comprendente i classici manuali e, soprattutto, che essa sia rigorosamente sigillata con il bollino che ne assicuri l'originalità. In più, l'adesivo originale applicato sullo schermo, su cui sono elencate le specifiche tecniche del prodotto, era applicato male; il che fa intendere una manomissione di quest'ultimo. Nessun indizio poteva darmi la certezza che il prodotto non fosse stato ricondizionato, quindi ho deciso di restituirlo; fortunatamente il reso è andato a buon fine e qualche giorno fa ho ricevuto l'intera somma. VENDITORE ALTAMENTE SCONSIGLIATO!!!
