Does it’s job for me
I have major sleep issues. I use L-Tryptophan coupled with Magnesium glycinate and I find I don’t have so many waking episodes at night. I feel I also have a more restful sleep. It has been worth my $$ to get better sleep.

Very helpful --find the right dose for you
This has helped me a lot. Tryptophan is a precursor for both melatonin and serotonin. Is being studied and should be studied more for anxiety depression especially postpartum. PSA: find your right dose! I started out taking one capsule twice a day just to get a feel. When I took two capsules several times a day (thinking it would help me sleep) I think I had excess serotonin which felt like kind of like too much cortisol, increased anxiety. So this stuff is good but find your balance with it to benefit.

Excellent quality Tryptophan supplement.
Pure Encapsulations is one of the best brands on the market. For years, it has been available by prescription. Thankfully, they offer it to the general public. Excellent quality ingredients. Twenty minutes before retiring provides an easy pathway to sleep. There are no after-effects when waking up the following day.
