I'm trying to move away from nonstick cookware, and was looking to replace a very small nonstick milk pan that has actually been surprisingly useful over the years. (I rarely used it for milk, but it came in handy for all kinds of other things, like warming up small portions of food etc.) I was a bit worried that this wouldn't be good, because it isn't nonstick. However, it's great, and much to my surprise, I found myself using it three times the first morning I got it: making porridge, then stewing a few apricots, then melting butter. The pan itself is surprisingly weighty and sturdy. Shiny on the outside, like my Tramontina saucepans, and brushed steel on the inside. It conducts heat well - I've only used it on the lowest flame on my gas hob, and it warms up way faster than my old little pan. Things pour out neatly over the lip, and it washes nicely and hasn't discoloured. The handle is also comfortable to hold and use, as it's sort of flat, and for the quick cooking things that I've done so far, it has stayed cool. One thing I haven't tested is boiling milk (though that's not important for me). All in all, this is an quality little pan, and I'm very glad I bought it.

Much better than expected and it still looks brand spanking new after months of use! Quite quick to heat up on induction and very easy to clean even without non-stick coating. Having spouts on each side is also a plus.

This mini saucepan is even better than first anticipated. Heavier and sturdier, even heat distribution. Perfect for warming up oils for infusion of flavours, milk, melting a small batch of chocolate ... etc. Comfortably holds up to 400mls of liquid and has markings on the inside to measure volume. Please be advised that this is a SMALL pan and a trivet will be required if you use a gas hob to securely place this upon. I am really happy with this product and I am considering buying another.

In my experience it's only possible to pour without dripping if you pour very fast, otherwise half the liquid just falls down the side of the pan.

This little pot is the perfect size for melting butter, sautéed garlic or green onions, warming a bit of milk, etc. The design is well balanced and does not tip over on the gas stove burners. Stainless steel is my preference, not only for health reasons but also ease of cleaning. It functions even better than expected. I am surprised how often I use it. I thought it would be just another kitchen gadget purchase that would take up real estate in the pot drawer.
