I figured that plain leather was stiffer than suede. 856 fits snugly, if it is pushed in all the way. under the pressure of the belt and the body, 856 stays. Yet it will fall out, if the holster is turned upside down, since it has no retention strap. The metal spring clip is strong, and it keeps the holster where it is supposed to be. The stitching is done very evenly and well. I do not imagine it will ever come undone. 2" Taurus sits deep inside, yet the tip of the barrel is hidden well out of sight. Most of the metal part of the weapon is hidden inside of the pouch. The only flaw is that the grip is almost touching the upper edge of the holster, allowing only the two finger space for gripping, as you pull the revolver out. Since there is no reinforcement for the leather to keep it in shape, once the weapon is out, it is rather time-consuming to re-holster. Most AD happens when re-holstering. Whenever you holster your weapon, make sure to keep your trigger finger away from the trigger. One trick for safe re-holstering is back up the hammer with your thumb, as you insert, in order to keep the hammer from flipping back. Kosibate has a great price vs. function ratio, and it will serve the user well. If it wears out sooner than expected--even after just one summer--I think it fulfilled its duty.

Nice little holster. Keeps the weapon secure enough and probably as comfortable as any.

I purchased this IWB holster for my SP101 .357/.38 Ruger pistol. After wearing it walking, driving, sitting and just performing daily activities, I can say that this was a great purchase. The leather is quality and the clip stays secure on my belt. The pistol draws smoothly, although reholstering is a bit cumbersome. My main objective was to find a holster that was comfortable in every ergonomic position and, at least for me, this was the one. Great price and I have recommended this product to friends.

I've owned a few holsters for my s&w 642 and was looking for something more comfortable to carry appendix rather than kydex. Fit - it's a pocket and could easily fit most snub nose revolvers. The material is very flexible and not firm like leather ( see pics). I have no complaints. Clip- sturdy clip and I have no complaints Protection- holster is soft on gun and skin. I have no complaints. Ease of drawing- this is why I gave three stars, the gun sits deep in holster making the space between grip/pants small, this gap makes it hard to grip. The second thing is because it's a floppy material it molds to gun/ grips gun. I kinda like that because it's less likely to fall out, but it also makes it hard to pull out. It's like a long hard pull instead of one tug like with kydex if that makes sense. Price- awesome This isn't a terrible holster for price, it's comfortable, just know it's going to take a second or two longer to get gun out. This might work for some but not for all.

Well made, excellent finish. Deep black exterior. Coarse side of leather outside is soft but grippy, holster doesn't re-position , smooth leather side on the inside holds well. Reinforced pad on clip is stiff and very sturdy, holds clip firmly. Because leather isn't stiff it's very comfortable to wear.

Das Teil ist das Geld nicht wert. Die Waffe, hier Weihrauch 9mm Revolver, ist alles andere als fest im Holster. Alles labbert irgendwie rum. Qualität geht anders. Geht zurück.

The holster is very soft which is nice on the finish of my S&W model 38. The clip is very secure and TBH it's a difficult item to reholster your firearm in.
