Great value, simple to use continuous lights for video and photography. We are professional photographers who are starting to get more and more into videography. The continuous lighting arena is a very crowded space with lots of options and equally wide price point. I recently got asked to record Some interviews for a client and needed some basic mains powered lighting to illuminate my subjects I found this product on Amazon, read the reviews and decided to give them a go. The package arrived quickly and was easy to unbox and assemble the lights. To be honest I had them up and running in less than 10 minutes Although the two lights do not feel bullet-proof , They are well-made for a product in this price point. The light is consistent and when diffused through the included soft boxes gives a lovely even illumination to the subject. I have used other kinds of continuous lighting in the past But my subjects often appeared to be blinded. I would definitely recommend these lights for a basic to light set up for videography and you could also use these for stills photography. I liked the inclusion of a carry bag which packs down the kit quite nicely and makes it easy to transport to shoots Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and look forward to trying more products in this range

Great product. The bag it came woth was also nice. Very easy to set up and provided grest lighting. Currently not what I need and will be looking at a light box instead. Having done more research the ability to adjust the brightness would be a worthwhile addition

A really good bit of kit for the price and an ideal pack for start up photographers or for those who don’t want to spend high end prices. I used this for product photography and the equipment was easy to set up. One bulb out of the kit was unfortunately faulty so I had to buy one separately as it was needed for a photoshoot the next day. The company (Emily) got in touch with me and sent replacements and a very kind goodwill gesture. Can’t fault their customer services at all. 5 stars. Thank you. 👍

Bought these to light up myself while doing live Zoom performances. They are great for the job. Very, very easy to assemble (I am not very practical and it was almost impossible to get it wrong). The lights are big and bright, and although they are light-weight they show no signs of falling over. I'm not sure whether the star rating for warmth is meant to be for the colour of the lights (it came with daylight bulbs, the light is diffused so not harsh, but it doesn't have any different modes for a more yellow shade unless you change the bulb!), or for whether they make the room hotter. They do make the room temperature warmer, but not too much. If I have a quibble, it's that when you decide to re-orient the lights (i.e. whether you want them to be in portrait or landscape orientation), it's not entirely clear whether you're screwing it on correctly. But whatever I've done seems to hold! They came well-packaged, with thin reusable cases for the equipment. They also came with a 'Lucky Card' for a free gift which you could choose. I chose an octopus-style phone tripod, which has now arrived and it's going to be very useful. So I'm a very happy customer!

I needed a lighting system quickly for a photo shoot and this item ticked the boxes. For the money you really can’t go wrong. Well made and very easy to assemble. I was careful screwing in the bulbs as I’d heard they were not very strong, and again had no issues. Being permanently on - they do have on/off switch of course (unlike flash units) you can easily position them for best effect. I used for some family portrait work and they worked great. Reviews have said the cables are too short, but using one on an extension the other plugged directly in didn’t present me with any problems. All in all I’d thoroughly recommend them

I ordered this kit to provide fill-in lighting in church when filming our Rector taking services during lockdown. The kit was well packed; everything worked perfectly straight out of the box and was easy to assemble. I placed the units quite close in - the large bulbs produce a good, soft, even light, and as the bulbs are compact fluorescents there are no issues with excess heat. At full height the switched mains cables reach just to the floor of the stands so you will need a couple of extension leads to link them together. In my opinion this kit represents outstanding value for money and for my purposes I am very pleased with it.

Will brake within the year. Both stands brake on the angle knob. Leaving the light fixed in place and unable to move again. First one happened around 6 months. Second one after 9. Clearly a fault with the product for them to both brake in the exact same place.

Great product. Really happy with the quality but it was a shame it came with UK plugs. That is not the fault of the seller but Amazon.se.
