Higher than we thought but still great
The faucet arm curves up above the sink at a higher level than the previous faucets we've had in our kitchen. However, after an initial adjustment period, we actually like the higher level more. Too many times I couldn't turn over a pan or cookie sheet because it clanked up against the faucet. With this faucet, there is enough clearance for all of our pans and cookie sheets and bowls. Additionally, the water flow control has a good and easy-to-use range. Small adjustments to strength of flow and temperature of the water are easy to make. Small taps don't move the dial from blistering hot to ice cold or from full flow to tiny drizzle. While this might seem to be a "given" for the average faucet, we have had two kitchen faucets (neither of them cheap) that offered less control over flow and temperature. The only "drawback" --for us--is the placement of the water control lever on the right side of the fixture. Yes, we could have installed it with the controller on the left, but the problem would have been the same one: you always have to hold the item to be washed in the same hand (either left or right, depending on the way it has been set up). Pick the "wrong" hand, and you have to reach across the water stream to move the control lever. We have had lift-up levers in the past that were equally accessible from either hand, so we have had to adjust to the new configuration. It isn't a "problem," but it is something to which we must adapt. Finally, we like the water flow control, called the "pull-down wand." The wand has a button which selects either "stream" or "spray." This button works smoothly and efficiently and is not difficult to engage. Previous faucets we have owned had small buttons to push, and after a while it took some effort to push them down completely. That is not the case with this fixture. The wand can be easily pulled down and directed around the sink or down inside a pot or pan to scrub out a utensil. The bottom line for us? An outstanding fixture that works perfectly and looks great!

Elegant finish and a great kitchen faucet
Installation was a breeze. I don't know how other reviewers were having difficulty with installation. I had everything buttoned up in less than 20 minutes. I do recommend a helping hand to hold the Moen faucet aligned while the installer(you) tightens the plastic nut to the bottom of the sink. Instructions had every step with explanation and visuals. The faucet performs well. We now have full water pressure in the kitchen! The plate-cleaning-spray-mode doesn't spray water everywhere, unlike other brands. The brushed stainless finish looks great. I will update this review on how our ownership progresses. Excellent value for the money. I glad I went with Moen!

Love it, recommend it!!
Love this faucet. Nice elegant, modern look, smooth operation, good water flow, quality materials, and most importantly, easy to install. It even comes with an extension tool for tightening the single main mounting nut, which is a real back saver for installation in a sink that is already mounted in the counter top. Another convenient feature is that the soap dispenser can be refilled from the top so you don’t have to mess around under the sink to fill/refill it. Nice!!! The only thing extra I had to do was add some clear sealant under the main mounting plate as I had a slight gap on one side even when it was torqued down as tight as I could get it, but that was probably due to mounting it into an older stainless sink that might have a slight warp in the mounting area. This might not be an issue mounting in granite or a more solid material. Overall, VERY happy with this purchase.

There's Lots to like, even so, I plan to return it.
Review of Moen Edwyn - made in the US of A This is a very nice looking faucet from a reputable manufacturer. The entire extraction of the previous Kraus unit (nice design cheaply made, though not cheap to buy it was more than this one) and installation of this faucet was probably no more than two hours labour, as executed by this squeaky, creaky old man scrunching in under and out above the sink numerous times. If you can corner an assistant to help from above the task should be greatly facilitated. The provided mounting nut socket tool is very useful and expedites the process tremendously. I'd read a review that recommended feeding the sprayer's hose through the assembly BEFORE mounting, rather than after as stated in the instructions, and that was excellent advice. You will have to thread the hose through the provided tool, too, if you do feed it first, but that was easy enough. I don't understand how some reviewers’ nozzles would dangle without fully retracting, unless they failed to mount the weight at the overtly marked location on the hose, or they have not maintained an obstruction free zone in the weight and hose area under the sink. Mine works great. I didn’t mount the soap dispenser. I wanted to wait until I’d determined to keep or return this faucet. For a USA made quality manufacturer’s product I felt the price was reasonable. The design is timeless and attractive. The lever functions are smooth and solid as might be expected from Moen. My issue is the lackluster performance of a faucet’s designated purpose, regulate water flow. Just filling one sink with HOT water and the other with COLD takes longer than the thaw of the last ice age. (I remember it well.) I understand the mandated flow restrictions are partially to blame, but one criterium for ordering this particular unit was the boast of Power Clean technology creating “… an exceptionally strong, concentrated spray.” Maybe Moen forgot to include the P.C. tech in the unit I received, but both the aerated stream and the spray are pretty wimpy, borderline lame. I’m going to need to reinitiate my search for a faucet with some oomph in the spray. This apartment does not have a dishwasher (however, I have hope - just purchased my own new LG French door & drawer fridge to replace management’s cheap Frigidaire that disintegrated completely within four years, and this faucet to replace my own previous one by Kraus that replaced the cheap apartment faucet that could not accommodate anything larger than a saucepan; so, an exceptionally strong, concentrated spray is a minimum necessity for a hygienic environment. And I’m working on permission to install that dishwasher. Bosch has an excellent one perfect for the space I have. It is a good thing my rent is below market, although still at a level highly profitable for the landlord. I really miss my little redwood cabin in the Hollywood Hills where I didn’t need to beg for eight years to get a vent in a windowless kitchen, even though the absence of one here violated building code. Some landlords are unconscionable. So, would I recommend this Moen Edwyn faucet? If your circumstances can counter the main shortcoming of wimpy water flow, this might be a good choice. Reputable manufacturer, fair price, USA made. Hey, there are ample options out there to do far worse.

This new faucet was shipped with a defect. If it came like this, it should've been discounted 50% instead of full price. Can't even wash it off
