Durable, light-weight, good overall quality
Overall, this is a pretty reliable and versatile rolling duffel. When I was researching items on Amazon for a new bag, at first I was feeling dissuaded by the negative reviews of this specific product. But I bought it anyway, and happy I did! It has survived several long-haul flights, four of them international, as both a check-in and carryon. I have to say it has survived the handling by the baggage handler gorillas with flying colours. What I like most about it: (1) how lightweight it is, which allows me to pack more into it before I hit the 50 lb (22.5kg) airline weight limit (2) the upper zipper pocket is perfect for quick access to things I need quickly, such as paperwork or a place for a ziploc bag of liquid items (3) collapsible handle works pretty well and (so far) seems to have taken no damage from all the travels (4) wheels appear to be good quality, they have rolled at least 20 miles (30km) on varied surfaces and still look like they have plenty of life left The one complaint I can confirm is that it will not stand on end, as others have written. Personally, that doesn't bother me as I've had other rolling duffels and I don't remember a single one being able to do that. I just rotate the bag 180 degrees and park it against a wall or another bag when I want to stop. In summary: a good bag for the money and I would buy it again if I needed to.

Roomy but not too bulky
It's just as described. I went with the 28-inch duffle and also picked up the Amazon Basics medium-sized packing cubes. I was surprised at how much I could fit, six cubes in the top compartment, which can hold about 12 outfits if you pack two full outfits per cube. Plus, I can lay six more cubes flat on the bottom tier, perfect for thicker jackets, shoes, or bulkier items. I even managed to fit a foldable duffle inside for souvenirs or extra space if needed. The two side pockets are pretty roomy too. You can easily fit a nice-sized toiletry bag with some extra room to spare. I plan to use those pockets for chargers and other quick-access items. Overall, I think it’s a great bag—it holds a lot and feels well-made. Just a heads-up, the fabric used for dividing the sections is pretty thin and doesn’t stretch much, so it could tear if you’re not careful. Also, if you’re trying to stand it upright with the handle out, it doesn’t do that very well—it’s a bit top-heavy and will topple over. But overall, I’m really happy with it!

Good option
It is a good option: very spacious and easy to transport. However, I would not recommend it for air travel, as the material tends to suffer significant damage due to the handling by airlines.

Luggage with a big scoop of "Awesome-Sauce!"
The Samsonite Andante 2 is one awesome piece of luggage! It comes in multiple sizes. I opted for the large 32in. size. The Andante 2 has two primary compartments. The bottom hard shell compartment and the top duffel bag compartment with two smaller side compartments. The confluence of the aforementioned makes for happy packing and organization. Press the button and the handle pops up for those long treks through a big city airport. The wheels on the Andante 2 are quite high quality, resembling those of an expensive pair of roller blade inline skates as opposed to those of a 1959 vaccum cleaner like some off-brand cheaper models use. The Andante 2 isn't just functional, it looks cool also leaving me smiling every time I look at it! I look forward to using it for my next travel endeavor with great alacrity! As far as the Andante 2, I highly recommend it!

CHEAPLY MADE INFERIOR PRODUCT!
DO NOT BUY THIS SAMSONITE BAG! I have owned several pieces of Samsonite luggage and never would I have suspected such an inferior product was sold by what I've know to be a quality producing company. I purchased this bag in July with the intention of using it immediately for a trip and didn't use it. I used it for the first time 3 weeks ago over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It didn't even survive the first leg of the trip. The material is not strong enough to withstand the airline handling process. It ripped along the seams as well as where there were not seams to separate. Proving it wasn't an inadequate sewing process, but rather inferior materials. It does not have adequate straps for lifting a bag of this size without putting too much stress on one strap. I'm sure this too would have given out....If the bag would have survived for additional trips. I feel like I wasted $80 bucks on a piece of crap luggage with what "was" a reputable company's name printed on it. I will never buy another piece of luggage from Samsonite. Since I didn't use it for the first time for nearly 6 months after I purchased it. I cannot request a refund. I read the reviews before purchasing it and they were mixed, but I trusted the "SAMSONITE" brand and purchased it anyway. Don't make the same mistake I made...Choose another bag.

Perhaps the most perfect duffel bag.
So this is actually my 2nd 22” Samsonite rolling duffel bag, the first one I used exclusively for over 10 years. It held up extremely well but needed to be retired due to poor handling from numerous airline mishaps. The wheels on this bag roll very nicely and are whisper quiet and the handle extends decently far, I am 5’11” and the handle is plenty long enough that I do not need to bend to roll the bag. The interior is actually very spacious, I can fit a pair of size 12 shoes, 4 XL pairs of gym shorts, 4 XL tshirts, 4 pairs of socks, as well as my toiletry bag full of toiletries and still have room to spare. The end pocket holds my charging cables and power bricks.

Cost-Cutting Has Ruined a Great Bag
It was difficult for me to decide whether to buy this bag, even though it was close to what I needed, because it has two major flaws. First, the side compartment for shoes is way too small. Second, the bag has no protective base or feet to keep it off the ground. As soon as you start using it, the fabric begins to wear out significantly because the bottom of the bag rests directly on the ground. I had an older version of this exact same bag, which I’m replacing simply because it wore out after years of use, and it was much better than this new version. Unfortunately, it seems that in an effort to cut costs, they have compromised the quality and overall design of the product. Esta versión suena natural para una reseña en Amazon o en la página del fabricante, sin parecer una traducción literal.

good bag, my first trip with it and it held more than seven days of clothing shoes and my tripod,it stood up to rain and rough treatment by airline and porters.the things i did not like the end pockets have only one zipper and i could not lock them so it's not secure enough
