🎧 Elevate Your Audio Game with MATRIX X-SPDIF 3!
The new X-SPDIF 3 USB digital audio interface allows your computer, tablet or mobile phone to easily output high-quality digital audio signal to peripheral digital audio devices, transmit in USB asynchronous mode, and achieve from USB input to Optical/Coaxial/AES/IIS-LVDS output interface conversion. Compared with the previous generation, the IIS-LVDS output isolation is added, which completely isolates the digital output from the ground wire of the USB end, and bids farewell to the annoying noise of the USB front end. In addition, it supports up to 32Bit/768kHz PCM signal and 1Bit/DSD512 signal output, achieving an excellent output quality from both PC and mobile devices. With 2 femtosecond clocks from Accusilicon as the reference clock source to accurately restore the nature of music. Working for 44.1kHz and 48kHz and their multiples of sampling rate respectively, the FPGA automatically performs frequency division and switching control, it is powered by an independent ultra-low noise LDO. The clean power supply allows you to enjoy music without worries. The X-SPDIF3 can be configured to 4 kinds of IIS-LVDS interface definitions by toggling the switch on the bottom of the unit, to match various back-end devices. Enables the X-SPDIF3 has a wider range of applications.

Excellent Upgrade
Received my Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 today. It works great. I have the PS Audio Directstream DAC. Unplugged the USB wire from the DAC and plugged it into the Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 Then I attached the Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2 to the PS Audio Directstream using the I2S ports. Works great. Now getting DSD 256 output on my system. Great product.

It replaced my CAPS computer
I've owned a dedicated music streaming system consisting of a CAPSv3 computer. external battery power supply, NAD M-51 DAC, and three headphone amps and numerous headphones. The problem begins when my collection surpassed 250,000 tracks. Searching through the collection on a low-powered computer was a total pain (stuttering, delays). Also, it's been reported that the AES/EBU inoputs of the NAD DAC sounded superior to the USB.Enter the Matrix Audio X-SPDIF 2. Used Mogami 3080 AES/EBU cable between Matrix and NAD, and plugged the 9V lead from the power supply to the Matrix. Kimber KCAG balanced sounds best on tube amplification (Eddie Current). Cardas Clear shines in solid state (HeadAmp. Violectic).Source is a Dell Precision workstation with four (4) 8Tb drives in a RAID5 config. A month later I repurposed the SOTM-USB card that was inside the CAPSv3.The sound signature of the new config has all the qualities of the previous rig with one, very noticeable difference: Dynamics/punch galore! I've heard the DAC connected directly to the workstation on and off again for the last 5 years, and have always switched back to the CAPS. Something about that direct connection kept me from enjoying the sound (perhaps electrical noise). The new config transformed my workstation.IMHO, Matrix fully removed whatever digital noise came out of my workstation and gave me that coveted AES/EBU output to fully appreciate everything my DAC can deliver.

Enjoying my music. A lot.
I purchased the matrix pci card, that cleans up USB, months ago. This was the next step to make. My dac doesn’t have an I2 input, but it has everything else. I am using aes/ebu now. Great improvement. Even with a cheap cable. It made me go back and burn my cd’s again at 4x speed, and no compression, to compare. It also made a difference. A i2 dac is next.

Works
Noise is huge and adding this device between my streamer and RME Dax makes a clear and discrete difference.

Great customer service and product
Arthur at Power Holdings (the seller) was tremendously helpful and helped me figure out how to set up the Matrix Spdif 2 in my system. His customer service was exceptional. Highly recommended.

IS2 Output, Awesome sound, Well built. Great value.
Sounds GREAT through PS Audio DSD DAC. Much better than the PSA Bridge 2 IMO. No user issues with DSD, DoP, rebook or high resolution audio. Money well spent.

This will make your DAC sound better.
I bought this for my PS Audio DS DAC, it made it sound so much better. Converts DOP to native DSD files on the fly. Sounds amazing, its an easy MUST BUY.LOVE IT!

Solid
Great performer. It replaced a Gustard U16 after a long shootout.

Works like a charm...
"Power Holdings Inc." seems fishy due to the lack of reviews and connection to the actual vendor. But I wrote an email and they confirmed that this is their official store. So far so good. The device works perfectly. I am using it to connect a MacBook to my KEF LS60. I can't hear a difference between the Tidal that comes with the speakers vs. Tidal on MacBook over Matrix.Compared to various other converters I have tried, this is by far the best and there is a significant difference between a 100$ device and the Matrix.I don't know if there even is a way to 100% match the integrated Tidal playback of the LS60 through any kind of digital input (aside from Roon via Ethernet).
