DMEX D2R 35W 6000K Cold White Xenon HID Headlight Bulbs 85126UB 66250 85126WX Replacement - 2pcs(NOT fit Halogen Headlight Bulb)

I haven’t yet installed the set of bulbs I just ordered, but I did put another set in a different vehicle, and they were great. Nice and bright, and still going strong. When I needed to replace the headlights in my other Lexus, I unhesitatingly reordered these, which should tell you I am pretty happy with them. One third the cost for two bulbs as one bulb would cost me in an auto parts store. Not the easiest things to install, but I blame Lexus for that, not the bulbs.

My 2006 Sienna XLE Limited has the original Sylvania HID bulbs and they still work fine, but I heard that HIDs loose brightness over time so decided to get new ones. I bought Osrams from Amazon at $150 for a set of two, but sadly those came with broken paper seal and black fingerprints all over the inside packing. Thanks to Amazon for taking those back. I then decided to go with a lesser brand - at least they will be originals. The build quality is pretty good and to my eyes, the 6000 Kelvin color temperature is much better than the factory originals which I believe are Sylvania 4300 Kelvin. Brightness seems slightly better than the worn-out originals, so these are decent replacements if your originals go out. Not sure about longevity as I have just had it for a month. On my 2017 Honda Civic, I replaced the factory halogens with Hikari 2022 HyperStar H11 LED bulbs, and they are MUCH brighter than the older technology HIDs, however, fitting those into a HID fixture will need a ballast bypass which is more involved. So, if you ballast works, these are the way to go, but if your ballast is gone, I suggest moving to LED.

Review Update: I'm amending my review and removing initial comments that unfairly blamed the product for the fact that one of the bulbs stopped working after two months, when it turned out to be an install mistake by me as the plug had come loose. So, that said, the upgrade over the OEM bulbs in my 2006 Infiniti G35x sedan is absolutely amazing. I take back roads home from work every day and in the winter months when it's dark by the time I leave the office, as it is now, these bulbs have made a HUGE difference. The 6000k bright white output improvement compared to the OEM 4000k-ish yellow output can't be overstated. I can see further down the road and everything is just illuminated so much better. I keep reading that these bulbs have a blue-ish tint to them, but I'm not seeing it. Maybe just a hint? But certainly not as blue as some keep making it out to be. The bulbs are generally plug and play, once I got into the headlight assembly, that is, which is a total pain on my car. Once there, however, the bulb slides right in, engage the clip, close up the assembly and essentially done. I'm giving just four stars because the product page is inaccurate with regards to my specific car, but I'm not sure if that's an Amazon problem or the vendor. I can only select "2006 Infiniti G35" and that's it. It appears to assume I have the coupe which takes the D2S projector bulb. My car is the G35x all wheel drive sedan, which takes the D2R reflector bulb. So, I initially bought the wrong bulb and had to return for the correct version.

Received these bulbs that were the exact ones for my 2004 Volvo XC90. They were easy to replace and worked great.

This bulb was a life saver. My HID Philip D2R went out and I usually go to Autozone and pay $104 each. Fortunately they were outta stock and the warehouse didn't have any either or I would have glady forked over $104+ tax. So checked around at other locals O'Reilly, Advanced, NAPA everyone wanted $125+ and didn't have it in stock locally. So I went to Amazon just to see what was available. To my splendor I found it for 20% of the price of the OEM Philips bulb. I was able to purchase aftermarket it works perfectly. It's even brighter and comes in a 2pk. I'm super happy with my purchase Amazon does it again. Don't pay over priced retail for convenience they delivered free overnight with Prime it was on my porch at 7a this morning!

It fit in the Infiniti G35, and matched the other headlight perfectly.

They work. They’re reliable so far. No complaints.

Subaru Forester XT 2008, garage used a standard Philips D2R 35W 4200K 85126WX and seriously charged an arm and a leg for it. I was sick when I saw the bill. Passenger side started flickering after just 1 pesky year. Tired of paying silly prices for sub-standard performance. This DMEX gives me 2 bulbs and change vs the 1 Philips bulb whilst it updates the color temp to 6000K (something I've always wanted). I didn't even wait for the still good driver side bulb - took both out and replaced it with this DMEX bulbs. What a life changer. Many can say what they like but manufacturing quality is just getting better and better give credit where credit is due. After more than 1 year the DMEX pair has not skipped a beat. Doesnt mean that yours wont but jeez for the price we know what we can handle right. Imagine being asked for pay $180+ for 1 Philip bulb!

5 years on and these run amazingly in my Lexus! Would recommend 10 times out of 10

When i replace the bulbs they switch off after a few seconds. Ballast is fine. Advise on what the problem could be.
