Living off grid, I have a 2650 gallon water cistern based water system that requires that I haul water to keep it full. To transfer water from my 500 gallon water trailer, I use a 2 inch gasoline powered potable water pump. All of the hoses, pump, and cistern make use of 2 inch cam and groove fittings. To keep my transfer hoses clean during storage, I purchased four of these Banjo 200PL Polypropylene Cam & Groove Fitting, Dust Plugs. They fit well and do the job I purchased them for.

Exactly what I ordered and needed to close off my intake suction line for a portable field irrigation system. Saves having to prime the suction tube, as I just fill it with water, cap it with the plug, and haul it to the creek. No fiddling with buckets of priming water this way.
