Can it be used with alcohol ink on tile ?

Not sure about tile but yes to alcohol ink I usually let my ink dry overnight

What is the pot life? How much time between coats?

You can do the next coat in as little as 2 hours but 4 hours is the suggested time.

Do you have to sand the wood first?

Yes you will need to sand the wood to 220 grit sandpaper befor filling pores with pore filler once pores are filled sand again to 320 then either spray or brush on Crystalac. I lightly sand between each coat for better adherence.

Do I need to use a tumbler turner?

A turner will give the best results, as the drip method usually leaves it a little thicker by the rim, however it is possible to hang dry tumblers if you are diligent about sanding between coats after allowing those coats to completely dry.
