My wife and I cook much more frequently now due to the pandemic and this device has made fixing meals much easier. We had a previous chopper that was a pain to assemble and operated not to mention clean so this one made a real impression when it was so easy to use. You just place the food you want to chop in the container with the blades and connect the powered top. A large button makes it easy to operate and chop the food. How long you run it determines how finely chopped or minced the food is. You then take off the top and empty the container. Cleaning is easy as the container is dish washer safe. You do have to be careful with the blades as they are sharp. The only reason I gave the device 4 stars for cleaning instead of five is that the powered top does get food on it and you can't immerse it in water to get it clean. The design of the top that covers the food isn't nook and cranny free so it does take some careful cleaning with a brush. The size of the device is perfect for two people. You may want a bigger one if you have to fix large meals.

I got this to help me make my dog's food faster and easier. I make my dog's food once a week and it was becoming time consuming. She is an older Shepherd rescue (12 years old) and cannot really chew her food properly because she was left in a crate that was too small for her her whole life by her former owners and she tried to chew her way out, damaging her teeth. It was taking so long for me to cut up her food. I decided to put it in here after preparing it but before freezing it. Excellent product. Wish I had ordered a larger one but this will do. Good quality and construction. I put the following items in it to chop: cooked chicken breast, cooked sweet potatoes, cooked spinach and kale, tumeric spice, coconut oil. It never stalls and seems to really blend everything together nicely. I wanted something made in the USA but I could not afford those. This was a good quality product for a great price. Very glad I purchased this.

Makes my morning smoothy smooth. Makes my dog food small enough the little guy can't pick out the green beans! I love the two tear blades. I tried a single cheap blade walmart one and it ended up in the trash. Didn't chop bupkiss! I love all my Ninjas. I Wish they made the cup for sale separately. I ended up buying a second one. One for my dog food and one for my food. Okay so you say just transfer into another container... I say less dishes to wash by just taking the blade out and putting the container in the fridge. Hate washing dishes! At least I have a backup in case they stop making it! (bright side)

I've just updated my Ninja from one I've had for about eight years. I use it five days a week and hand wash it most of the time. Some of the improvements I like: the motor is lighter and easier to set for use; the piece the blades attach to is a lighter color making it easier to see food particles stuck there; the lid is easier to attach with no nooks and crannies to clean and it can be sealed up to use as a to-go container. My old Ninja is actually still working, but I (clearly) like the new model better.

Works great and is simple to use.

I use it to chop onions and celery, etc, for potato salad. The bowl is large enough to puree canned tomatoes for my tomato and spaghetti sauces. It is great for fluffing egg yolks for potato salad and deviled eggs. It's the best. I have also purchased it for gifts. Very useful item but be very careful when using and washing the blades. It is easy to either hand wash or put in the dishwasher but I prefer hand washing the blades and putting them away safely.
