Do you get timing between key strokes, I want it to analyse what I type but also the speed of my different fingers to build a custom keyboard layout?

Unfortunately, no. It is quite a basic device in the way that it just saves the keystrokes onto a notepad document. Every keystroke is logged, including space bar, backspace, etc so it can look confusing at first and it can be up to you do decipher what is going on.
