Very good!!
I enjoyed reading about all the pink Floyd studio albums. I liked the whole entire book. If your a pink Floyd fan you should read it.

Musician views on Pink Floyd music
At first I thought this is going to be a bio that explains every song on every PF record, how it’s made, who recorded what, interesting stories from making it, that kind of thing. But at the end it is a “transcription of a podcast” where every album is analysed by competent musicians who talk more on how some (I think not every!) song influenced them, touched them, had an impact on overall Pink Floyd music, what’s so great about it and so on. I was a bit disappointed for the first half but then I figured out this is not a boring historical book, but a lot of stories on one of the most influential bands of all times and how each piece of their music actually influenced some of the great musicians. Not a masterpiece, but a great book for hard PF fans.

The story of Pink Floyd, told album by album
'Pink Floyd: Album by Album' by Martin Popoff is an ebook telling the story of the bank Pink Floyd by going through their albums. Starting with 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn and going to 'The Endless River,' each chapter tells the story of how the album was made and offers a moderated discussion among different people in the music business. The tragedy of Syd Barrett stayed with the band for quite a while. The eventual split of the band from vocalist/bassist Roger Waters is here. Along with stats for each album, there are lots of archival pictures of the band, album cover, tickets and other things. I As a fan of the band, I really liked this book. I was aware of most of the history, but not all the stories behind the albums. The photos and history were great as were the conversations. I received a review copy of this ebook from Quarto Publishing - Voyageur Press, and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

Not just essential for fans of Floyd, but for music fans!
Martin Popoff's epic guide to Pink Floyd's albums is a brilliant read and well worth a purchase, not just for fans of Pink Floyd, but for music fans in general. From one of rock music's most legendary bands, prepare to be transported through half a century of so many diverse eras of Pink Floyd with 15 studio albums, from the early days led by Syd Barrett's songwriting, then a transition from psychedelic to progressive rock in the late 60s and early 70s - followed by Roger Waters' lyrical concepts in albums such as The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, leading up to David Gilmour leading the band from 1985 to 1995 both in the studio and in concert, finally concluding with their final studio release the Endless River in 2014. Add to extraordinary interviews with both musicians and journalists about each of Pink Floyd's records, along with some brilliant photos of the band from the respective timeframe to go with the album review and discussion, and that adds to the quality of an incredible book. Well worth a purchase!

Bad Condition
This book arrived in terrible condition. The back appears to have a crease in it and there is a gash on the cover. It is for a gift and too late to return it. Super disappointing.
