Good battery and great aftersales
Ordered these batteries unfortunately when they arrived the packaging was in a bad state and the one of the batteries wouldn’t charge. Contacted the company the company director responded immediately he apologised for this issue and stated it may have been old stock . He immediately sent a full replacement set of batteries which arrive next working day and problem resolved. With the amount of batteries etc this company supplies it is easy to see that this is clearly a one of issue. Great after sakes service Thank you Very happy customer highly recommend

Ansmann AA 2850mah a big disappointment
I bought these batteries thinking they were the best - what a disappointment ! Firstly, they self-discharge significantly within a week or so. Secondly, they are way-below the capacity claimed - coming in at between 2300 and 2500mah according to my tests. Sent them back to Ansmann, who claimed they were 'within specification' (which apparently is above 2450mah), and who were either unable or unwilling to replace them with some which actually were 2850mah. Spoke to Ansmann's UK MD about it - he said he 'had seen' a battery with a 2800 capacity (!?) but that they vary between batches, and the latest isn't a good one. He justified the apparent mislabelling on the basis that "all the manufacturers do it". Shocking! Well not all the manufacturers do it. I've found uniross batteries have a capacity at or near what they claim, and hold their charge well (even the ones not labelled as low-self-discharge). And what is more, they seem very reliable and don't deteriorate noticeably as the years go by. So if you want high capacity AA's, I'd suggest Uniross 2700's - hold their charge well, have a higher capacity than the Ansmann 2850's (in my tests), and much cheaper ! Battery too fat & too tall to fit in specific battery compartment
Ansmann is an excellent German brand, no doubt about that. I bought this set specifically to power the little vintage Sony dye-sub printer. Problem: They do NOT fit into the battery compartment. Pic 1: You can see the the Ansmann is slightly fatter and just a tad higher. Pic 2, 3 and 4 Show the battery compartment. Pic 5 and 6 show the difference in diameter. I’s not much, but just too much. I needed really to force the batteries in! That is not OK, especially compared to the other battery I use to compare. I really had a difficult time prying them out again. No damage, but this is not the right way. Must return the batteries and buy another brand in a brick and mortar specialist shop. Caveat emptor

Ottimo prodotto, ottimo servizio
