My Hero Academia, Vol. 16: Red Riot

Since season 4 was announced, I decided to catch up with the manga since I can’t wait until October. Was a little scared at first to buy it because of the reviews saying that some pages don’t print well, but brushed it off since it’s been a while since this was released. I was definitely not disappointed. All of the pages came printed perfectly and the cover wasn’t damaged like another review said. If you’re thinking about reading the manga before season 4 comes out, trust me, spending money on all of these books is worth it.

This volume is probably my favorite out of the first 20 volumes. This volume is mostly fighting but it has some amazing character development, it shows a lot of the characters backstories and why they fight today. These chapters had me on the edge of my seat. It seems that they fixed the printing issues a while ago because all of my pages were thick and the ink was crisp and as it should be.

I had already read this this one, but I bought it anyway because I knew it was that good. It gave a lot of backstory for several of the characters and kept me engaged throughout the whole thing. Although it could do with faster pacing, there is still a lot left in this arc. Overall, a good start to the raid. Looking forward to buying the next one.

Perfect for collection!

I told myself before I opened it up to take my time reading!! Guess what I didn't do? The whole thing was super thrilling! I can't wait for the next volume! The manga was shipped with care and arrived in perfect shape! Oh and just have to say that Season 4 of the anime is going to be SO GOOD!

We get a good look into Red Riot and Suneaters past to see what made them the hero’s they are today. Awesome fights and the ending leaves you wanting more! Update: December 7, 2018 8:15 am. I noticed some people for this volume with low ink pages and water damage mine has none.

The manga came in great quality. As a huge fan of Boku no Hero Academia / My Hero Academia, I loved the story. the manga came early too!
