TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE Drywall Anchors with 1/4-20 Bolts, 20 Pack

Great product.! The most important thing is that you need to use a flat washer to pull the anchor towards the wall as you tighten the bolts. The plastic legs are ok but they break too easily and with the washer you won't lose any of the anchors like I did.

A whole new way (to me) for attaching heavy objects (like kitchen cabinets) to walls, especially old lathe and plaster walls. My old kitchen cabinets that were screwed to the lathe and plaster pulled off over time. One actually fell down and spilled everything in it. The Toggler system uses a long, strong bolt and wide "wing" to span the backs of several rows of lathe. It works better than regular toggle bolts.

I wanted to put up towel hangers in my bathroom. I tried other anchors and they pulled out of the drywall. I installed the towel hangers using these anchors and success they are still attached to my walls.

These anchors are super duty, but difficult to install. If you are installing them in a shower through tile, you will have hardy-backer behind the tile. It is hard and smooth which gives little for the toggle to grip. So, if your bolt does not go in perfectly straight, it can get stuck cross-thread and the toggle will spin with the bolt. It might refuse to go in further or back out, requiring a hack saw to cut the bolt. Buy more than you need.

Ordered this and was mildly disappointed when I received my package due to the product arriving in a plain plastic bag. I have to re-box this product because otherwise I run the risk of the toggles breaking before I get a chance to use them. Anyways if you are looking for a excellent wall anchor this is what you need. I use this product for mounting TV wall brackets through drywall AND metal studs. It is durable and strong enough to hold however care should be taken when only mounting through drywall.

I bought these toggles for the purpose of mounting some cleats for a shelving project that I’ve been working on, in any spots where the cleats did not align with a stud.. I needed a mechanism that allowed me to drive holes straight through a layer of wood + drywall at the same time, and this product is what I ended up stumbling upon! I’ve never used any kind of toggle-bolts historically, but I did not find these difficult to use by ANY means. Although, I do think it is important for beginners to pull up an instructional video to get a quick idea of how they work, when you’re using them for the very first time. The official company YouTube has a great guide - It is titled ‘SNAPTOGGLE Toggle Bolts’ (channel: TOGGLER Anchors, posted in 2009). Now I do believe that there are a few minor caveats with using these, & I just wanted to make sure that I brought attention to them: #1 • When you’ve reached the step of pulling the zip-tie style straps tight to secure the metal channel to the inside surface of your drywall, you MUST ensure that it gets pulled as tightly against the wall as possible. During one of my first attempts, I believe that I could’ve clicked it tighter once more, but it went unnoticed before I tried fastening the bolt to the channel — It absolutely refused to tighten down correctly. I believe that was due to the channel not being completely flush up-against the inside surface. #2 • On the same subject as the above note, when tightening the zip-tie straps down, make sure you’re ALSO simultaneously pulling the channel toward yourself. Otherwise, it is quite easy for it to shift out of place without you realizing. After pulling everything nice & tight, I would just shine a flashlight down the hole to make sure the inside threads were lining-up correctly. #3 • DO NOT push too hard when you’re initially starting to screw the final bolt. I actually made the mistake of doing that a few different times, which ended up causing the channel to get knocked out of the wall, & fall down into the inner drywall cavity. Be very gentle at first, until you’re confident that you can feel the bolt has latched onto the channel’s threading. Once you’re certain the bolt has caught the threads, it shouldn’t matter anymore how much pressure you’re applying to it when tightening. #4 • I would definitely anticipate losing a couple of toggles, & make sure the quantity you buy is a little bit more than what your project is going to require. This honestly shouldn’t be an issue for most, if all steps are correctly followed.. BUT everybody makes occasional mistakes, and the last thing you want is to run out of what you’ll need to finish up on your project. In Summary — 10/10 product that works really great, just make sure to be mindful of the things I’ve mentioned above, & don’t start blindly trying to install them without first pulling up the super quick video guide!

Very easy to use and most secure anchors I’ve tried yet. Make sure you watch demonstration video first and you should have no issues with installing them. Used them mount our floating book shelves and TV mantle in drywall, went super smoothly and all feel very secure. A little pricey, but I do think they are very much worth it.

More than 25% of the product is unusable. 20 piece count was faulty and failed at installation at either the toggle, at the zip tie portion or at the anchor point once installed. See video. The bag itself also appeared to be some sort of miscellaneous attempt to resell returned product. Very disappointed. The units that we're able to fully secure to the wall are not able to hold one 8 lb shelf and is unstable. We will have to remove and reinstall using other hardware. Highly recommend finding other resources. Too good to be true - probably is.

Pro’s incredibly easy to install. Once in pkace nylon steps pop off with ease (using your fingers). I used these after a different, screw in anchor failed). Wished I’d use these first! Con’s - you do have to drill a half inch hole for each bracket (no big deal for most things).
