I would like to know for sure from the seller, has this sauerkraut been pasturized?

I spoke to customer service and was told it is not fermented. The cabbage is cooked.

Does this product have live bacteria in it? Or has it been heated up to kill the bacteria?

When you make sauerkraut, you do not heat it up to kill the bacteria. It's literally cabbage, water and salt. No pressure cooker. Just have to have a perfect constant temperature.

Is this unpasteurized?

Based on the label NO. It is literally only cabbage, water, and salt. Those are the ingredients that my Grandma used and it's the closest one I've bought that tastes like my Grandmas. I know of 4 people in the family that has tried to make it like she did (myself included) with no luck. It is well worth the price.

How long does it take to make it?

I do not make it, i buy it from amazon. it is excellent.
